Missions will be a mix of maelstrom & regular.
Formations will be 1 large, 1 small & 1 other.
Superheavies, yes.. but limited to 560 points & comped up the wazoo as per community comp IA list.
IA units will be allowed. IA lists will not.
Will be using community comp with 16 points max as per small games rules.

Players pack should be listed this week.

If you are on Facebook there is also a Facebook event created for the tournament:

tempted to go, but this community comp thing seems to me to punish a horde player (orks)
i get stung a point if i take 35 grots the same as a marine does for 35 marines...i know which is nastier

does not make sense

How many points is 35 grots compared to 35 marines though?
Even if you hit 70 models you spend 2/16 available points... It's not that big a punishment...

a 70 model count ork list would get pummeled by round 2. a 6+ save doesnt stop hell of a lot compared to a 3+ ...

So take 105 and pay 3 points... It's still not much. The ork codex doesn't get hit all that much for comp points, and an average list should spend about 8 points (mid range). take 105, including a squad of lootas, tankbustas, warboss, deff koptas and maybe a few trukks, well that's 5/16, and a pretty decent list. numbers to survive, decent firepower, decent speed...

Either way, the TO has chosen it for a reason.

I'm expecting am average of about 12 points, so 3 would still be on the lower end.

on a more serious note. If i want to take my deathwing, but the only way i can make a legal list is use the formation..problem there is i cant deep strike till turn 2.so if i do take this list do i auto lose every game as on end turn 1 i have nothing down...even though my list makes it impossible ?
