Easy man, wasn't looking for a itemized list.

"Venue + lunches, trophies and heaps of prizes" would have been enough for me smile.gif

Ok, just get a touch pissed when people don't realize I only do these things for the benefit of our hobby armata_PDT_01.gif

so in answer to your question:

"Venue + lunches, trophies and heaps of prizes" are you coming? biggrin.gif

QUOTE(J.McGowan @ Nov 28 2013, 05:06 PM) *

how dare you jonesy, charging 45 dollars for an event with both prizes and trophies supplied lunch and in a venue with airconditioning

it isn't enough you have dropped a couple of grand of your own money into terrain and table tops to grow your scene and give players a place where to get together and enjoy their time away from their real lives.

ontop of your time already taken away from your wife for designing a players pack and organizing the checking of lists and updating attendee lists and the time spent organising the set up of the terrain to and from the venue and the hours spent sitting by games that you don't get to play in and having to deal with the data entry and dealing with rules questions and setting up rounds.

I expect a single TO to do more

now where is my torch, I am going to light it from the flames of my own self entitlement

tsk tsk tsk

Cheers Josh, can you make it to this one?

Budget is a bit tight, hence the query, but I'll be putting it on the calendar wink.gif

Well players it is now locked in and we have secured the Southport Sharks as our venue, a little dearer then I was lead to believe, but well worth it!!! So I'm going to ask real nice... Please if you can attend the date is set the venue is locked in and I need the 50 players to attend. Can we break this cycle of paying a week before or on the day, please start paying for your entry fee now. Currently I have 12 players paid and confirmed. Confirmed players will be added to the list below:
1. Michael Roberts
2. Michael Graham
3. Glenn Blair
4. Alex Pace
5. Craig Murray
6. Matt Daniels
7. Matt Tanner
8. Nick Tod
9. Brett Farrell
10. William Ferguson
11. Simon G.

To answer the question asked before about this being a licensed venue, yes it is and our function room is right next to both the sports bar and the smokers balcony. Parking is on site and is free. Might I suggest those of you that wish to attend multiple RC events this year take up a Sharks membership. Membership costs $6, giving you discount food and drinks but most importantly it allows you access to all the club facilities. that's enough from me for tonight. I look forward to hearing from you all soon.

Well I can honestly say it will be worth your trip. On another note just counted my tables and I am now needing to build 7 more... Well at least I have 3 months for the glue/paint/water effects to dry...

If you need people to bring terrain, just shout out Jonesy. The Yaris doesn't fit much (esp after cramming two fat bastards in it) but I should be able to squeeze a couple of tables worth in there.

Again thank you armata_PDT_36.gif I'm currently working on an ice wall table top and a Tau table. I've also started on my first gw terrain table. I'll let everyone know when they get posted to facebook.
Btw if any of the wargamerau guys want to stay up to date with the Gold Coast rc players find us on facebook under Rapid Confrontation.

Thanks Matt, you should like the Dark Eldar prizes, your name has been added. Now please keep the entries coming in. I know it is getting close to Christmas so I'm not really expecting many more to pay this side of the holidays but I give a huge thanks to those of you that can. We are now searching for 44 more players, who s going to sign up next??? armata_PDT_37.gif
