Thanks,

Just an update to mention that the WAU club is going strong. We have people playing most days of the week now, with large turn outs on Saturdays and Sundays especially.

Feel free to PM me if you would like to be added to the mailing list, or just post up a thread in this forum to organise some games!

DEFINATELY not Good Games where we normally play, and there's a few stairs going into GW as well.

Other than those two I'm not sure, I don't live nearby.

Yeah mate, sorry but good games is in an upstairs venue and both games workshop and tin soldier are in down stairs venues! none have lifts or ramps.

perhaps you could be able to find games with people at private residences... if not, most tournaments are wheelchair friendly, but since you are returning, thats prob not the best idea right now...

if all else fails, ask some friendly gamers to assist if you need to get up/down stairs?

What games are you interested in?

Gday fellas,

Quick question. Do any of you guys play Flames of War? I couldnt see any threads on it here, so just asking in case I missed something. I am keen to pick up FOW and playing at GGs is possibly the best way to go about it for me travel wise, oh, and I like the club name smile.gif

Cheers

Hey Akaba,

Nice to see another new player joining the ranks. Hope your first tourney left a good impression!

When you visit GG, make sure you visit the CBD one (above GW in clarence st) - we've recently started gaming there instead of central.

Also, not sure if you'll get many hits in this thread just cause it never gets used! If you want to make yourself known, start a thread in the main forum - the guys are very welcoming.

Matt

Hi,

Out club building has wheelchair access but it is in Thorleigh near Hornsby - not close to Bondi! However you would be most welcome. Note we mostly play 40K.

Hi Guys

Newly moved up to Sydney, keen to play more games as I've just got my minis out if storage (long year)

Primarily a greenskin* and friendly player, have been along to CanCon.

*Played some HElfs, skaven, vc and recently started painting a dwarf army.

Keen to improve my game.

Greetings All

New to the forum but long time enthusiast of the WHFB / WH40k genre.

I have been more of a painter over the years however I am looking to get into the playing side of the game a lot more.

Currently I have a half made Lizardman, Dark Elf army, and for 40k I have IG & Orks(Orks not quite complete)

Looking to network with like minded people who play and would love to learn a lot more about tactics and get advice.

Would love some games with anyone willing to be patient with a noobie.

Regards
Matt

Hey Matt,

Best to post in the main thread below not in this sticky as most people don't post here.

Nick

Not seeing much activity on this forum regarding the club. Is this still running? How many players are there during the week? Will be looking for regular games of Warmahordes in the very near future (moving back to Sydney), as well as probably some newb AoS games once my painting gear arrives tongue.gif
