Little Wars Adelaide 2019

Little Wars is back again in 2019 at a new location - the old venue was great, but just too expensive. An amazing day of 'come and try' games, demonstrations, trade stands, re-enactors, and a huge Bring and Buy stand.

My Martian Attack game is finally making it to Little Wars Adelaide albeit a few years late!

I've been dusting off my Gladiators Little Wars Adelaide. I'm planning to use the Tribal ruleset as the playing card system works really well for the duelling combat of the arena. After running some games of Gladiators when Tribal first came out, I haven't done much with my miniatures since. So I decided I needed a decent arena, to make the battles look right. I passed on a Playmobil arena, and opted for the Sarissa training arena. Breaks down easily for transport over to Adelaide and has all the components I need for a game (audience stand, holding cage and animal cages). I am just painting up some Lions to make the game a little more dramatic. Another pic of the full arena can be found here (and hopefully updates on some additions to the program before the big day):
