Hey all,

Noticed the 'Epic links' thread is a touch out of date (by 5 years now) so I figured id start a dedicated thread to epic proxies and keep it as up-to-date as possible.

Please post any companies with a link and preferably a brief description of what you would use them as a proxy for.

GHQ Models: Guardsmen (historical vehicles are WAY too small to use for Epic, but for swarms of infantry, quite good)

Troublemaker Games: Guardsmen, Orks, Adeptus Mechanicus, Eldar. Including aircraft and buildings.

Dark Realm Miniatures: Make great guardsmen and some tyranids

Brigade Models: Guardsmen and imperial vehicles

Exodus Wars: Guardsmen, marines, titans, some tyranids, traitor and imperial vehicles

Onslaught Miniatures: Great tau, tyranids, sisters of battle and dark eldar. Looking to soon expand with chaos cultist style troops.

Cheers, Ronin

Very impressive ork and humans. I wished I'd had more money to back the Indigo project.

Yeah I have GHQ at the top of my list, but the website was down.

The vehicles of theirs that ive seen have been too small to mesh well with Epic, but their infantry is pretty damn good, and you get squillions of em for bugger all.

Cheers, Ronin

Microworld Games do some neat sci-fi and fantasy 6mm. Very useful for Squat Berserkers/Slayers, Ork Wildboys and Eldar Exodites, plus they have a fantastic Vespid proxy too.

How feasible is it to do a marine list from the Exodus proxies? I havent been able to find any blogs or pictures showing what fits where. It is looking a little daunting as someone new.

I haven't actually seen anyone do it but they look like they'd fit pretty well.

The originals are cheap and plentiful though if you look around.

These suppliers are all still available and have mostly expanded their ranges. Keep putting up any more you find so we can help the community

Trolls.Cz / "Trolls Under The Bridge" make good looking Imperial Guard tanks.

They can't list them on the website anymore but they have a working bay store

They also have IG infantry

*edit: I have purchases some but not yet seen IRL, so please let me know if these are good
The 10mm infantry they make have looked a bit too shallow in detail, so not sure about their 6mm range
