Our philosophy is to try and create tournament events were the primary goal is to have fun. tongue.gif .

After much deliberation the Committee has settled on Community Comp as the best format to run this event.

When: 16th July
When: Enoggera Bowls Club - 72 Pickering St, Enoggera
Format: Community Comp - 8 Credits

Players pack:

Is the limit for flyers or FMC: that 2 total or up to 2 of each?

Are you usig the missions as per the ITC format/similar?

Will it be like Warriors so I just stick to the limitations imposed?

Keen to play, so looking to start painting up some stuff.

Either way I think it's time my LRC and Grimaldus had a run 😆

Gary

The missions will be the same (but tweaked). It's sort of like Warriors but not smile.gif Make sure you have a look at the ITC rules for your options for detachments and formations of which you can take up to 3.

Look forward to seeing you there, with another high quality painted army.

Cheers

Sorry for asking questions.

The Community Comp system allows for a comp score if it is applicable.

Is it applicable to this tourney? Your player pack has no mention of a composition score so is the overall (Lord of War award) just General+Paint+Sport?

Are participants to use the Community Comp score to just limit armies?. The 8 points spent of is to cap army power(quite well> I agree), but does not actually add to the Overall scoring to win the tourney?

Is that the correct interpretation?

I do like you mission points set up. I think It will work out quite well, will have to try it at my local.

Glad you like the missions. They really do balance various armies out and make for a more challenging game!

Yes your interpretation of CC is correct. We are only using this to balance army design. Their is no further modifier during the tournament.

I've noticed the restrictions on flyers / gargantuan creatures / super heavy's has been removed with the move to an 8 credit community comp event or so it seems as it isn't stated in the players pack. Just checking that this means that if I can somehow squeeze these into a 8 credit army list it will be allowed?

Hey guys,

Can I ask for a ruling in relation to Grimaldus and his servitors?

I want to join Grimmie to the Cents in my list with 1 servitor for FNP.

I can't find any clarification on whether this is allowed or not - no mention in Aus Faq and various forums are split on it being allowed / not allowed.

I always thought they were an add on to the Character like wolves are to wolf lords but the topic seems really split.

Could you let me know?

Thanks.

The way I see it ...you can't do this. sad.gif

Grimaldus and the Servitor/s become a unit. You can add further IC's to a unit but not add a unit to a unit.

If you look at Grimaldus special rules it affects units within a 6 inch radius, rather than stating just the squad he joins, to allow for the fact that Grimaldus/Servitor combo is a unit otherwise this special rule would have no effect.

If anyone thinks I'm wrong I'd like to hear it.

All good mate, I'll run them as Iron hands from Clan raukan.

Grimmie can be a captain with power axe and gorgons chain - I'll find something suitable to hang off his crosius or the model when I give him an updated base and paint job 😉

CC points won't change and I'll look at adding the servitors as objectives or something.

Would anyone have any objections to Grimmie being on a 40mm base with one of his servitors?

I've started work on him climbing from the rubble of hives reach. I just couldn't resist from a modelling perspective 😆

I will bring another model for measuring purposes if people have an issue gaming wise.

No worries I'll see if I can get some up tonight.

Grimmie and servitor are done just need to finish base

http://s1378.photobucket.com/user/Fofjunio...iew=recent&

Okay so pics are in the link. Have to finish the base, a few more rocks painted blue for cracked off/crumbling masony. Arm needs to be done as BT with blood effects and fallen banner needs to be done.

Basically looking at this as the moment he stands in the temple with it crumbling around him and shouts his famous line.

Should look okay when finished hopefully
