Tanus from the PP forums has been at GAMA, taking some pictures of the new models for Warmachine:Legends.

Image is at: http://img214.imageshack.us/my.php?image=downloadxs0.jpg

He's a big one alright... now I see why the two figures have a $45US RRP. There's a hell of a lot of detail in there smile.gif

It's painted red... its not rocket surgery which faction its from.
Is this going to take the place of a Drakhun in my list? (another noob)

Fenris will use the Dragoon rules (kill him once and he becomes dismounted, then you have to kill him again), and will be a Character model (only one per army, regardless of how many warcasters are in it).

He's likely to occupy a different niche to the regular Man-o-War Drakhun, though - the Drakhun hits hard and plays a tactical role with Counter Charge, but Fenris just looks like he's there to flip out and kill things - in the finest Doom Reaver tradition smile.gif

You could field both a Drakhun and Fenris in the same army, although it's a lot of points to put into two models - still, they are both mobile, hard to kill, and they'll undoubtably deal lots of damage.

Does anyone know yet what type of units each faction are getting? i.e. We know each faction gets a dragoon, do they each get a new jack too? a new epic? a new regular caster? new units?

The warjack appeared (briefly) on the PP main page, as the background image last week - it's since been replaced by the new Monsterpocalypse launch pictures.

The filename for the new jack was "Beast-09", and while it looks like a Juggernaught it's apparently the same size as the Behemoth... make of that what you will wink.gif

Edit: Legends will probably include several more "Character" warjacks for each faction, and lots of new unit attachments, allies, etc to help flesh out the smaller plotlines - Dwarven mercenary units, Cephalyx and Orgothian technology, Morrowan and Thamarite units, etc. I'm hoping for more Thamarites, or a Cult of Cyriss unit or three.

That Jack is a new one to. The axe alone is like nothing Khador have. Hmmm more Jack love.

Also how much can they pack onto that guy? Insane.

Otherwise if I was still playing Khador a Drakhun, Fenris and Gudrun would have to be up there as a possibly "I mess with your head" list. smile.gif

Oh yeah, he'll probably be a doom reaver and hence incapable of getting spells cast on him.

Elite Cadre (assuming that's the eButcher's bonus that you're talking about, Ange) only affects units - it won't have any affect on Fenris.

Fenris might have a Cohort: Doomreaver rule, though, to give them even more of a boost smile.gif
