This year's rooms actually had tables in them, which was a huge improvement on last year's last-minute surprise from the school management... but turned out to be even hotter than our old level 2 area.

We're definitely looking into our options for next year's venue: air conditioning is the main priority, as it's almost always going to be in the high 30s or mid 40s over the Australia Day weekend.

Except that we finished allthe gatorade in the place before lunch. I think we got through most of it on thursday at the dystopian wars event.

Yeah, the heat was pretty bad. I'm glad I took a cold drink + another frozen drink stored in a freezer bag. Swapping drinks throughout the day and even filling the ice block that was left in 1 bottle with the drink left in the other was enough. That, and buying a nice bottle of cold peach iced tea from the canteen. biggrin.gif

I think if I were to attend next year, I would really appreciate air-con. smile.gif

Overall, it was still an amazing event and I am definitely glad I attended. biggrin.gif
