Warrior Kings 2016, Sept 25, 1500 point fast play, new player, tournament Options

The Warrior Kings returns. Our fast play Kings of War tournament that is perfect for the beginner, the curious or those just starting a new army.

Four rounds of 1500 point battles, standard Kings of War rules with the addition of Disrupted units lose Flying. Rounds and scoring to be advised shortly with the players pack.

$15 entry for Group North Historical Wargames Society members, $20 entries for non-members. A lunch break with food is provided. The competition will be run at the club venue.

Prizes are to include Mantic army starter boxes. The perfect way to kickstart that new army.

I'm looking forward to Warrior Kings!

I've finished painting figures for the last couple of units and will base the whole army this weekend. This was a good opportunity to repurpose some stalled projects.

Minor corrections have been made to the players pack to use correct game terms and to cover what happens to a player in a bye round.

Any new players will need to pay on the day from this point onwards. Hope to see a lot of old and new Kings of War players on Sunday.

It was an excellent day of Warrior Kings yesterday. Thank you to everybody who turned up, especially our guests who traveled from the southern areas to join us. We had 14 people across the tables all day.

Congratulations to Chris Earl and Sean for taking spots one and two. Chris was undefeated all day and Sean managed to get a big win in the last round to move up to second spot. Both the top two players won starter boxes for Mantic armies and Matthew Nield won the extra prize of a copy of Uncharted Empires. All prizes were from competition entries.

Special thanks to Chris Sexton and his wife for the provision of the lunch. Very appreciated in a full day of gaming.
