So I've begun work on the second theme of terrain for the kickstarter. All the basic shapes are done for the walls, door etc, I'm just sculpting detail to remove the smoothness of it all and make things look more organic. The armoured chitin plates on the piece below haven't been worked on yet, hence why they are so smooth.

So I've been working on the next piece after some adjustments to the one above (I still haven't finished the one above though).

Here's the second WIP I've been working on:

These look good. Perhaps a centre ridge on the armoured plates would look cool.

Are you designing these so they can create corridors as well?

If so, my suggestion is to have them formatted so that they can create corridors of a reasonable width, say at the least 40mm in width, 50mm would be preferable. Although this takes up more table space, it allows miniatures with dynamic poses, or large body parts (like spread out wings or long tails for example) to more easily fit into the area, and also makes it easier for people with big string hands, like some guys I know, to get their hands into the play area without knocking over all the miniatures or terrain pieces, it's just more player friendly.

These are walls that you can place on the table however you want. There is no restriction on how far apart they have to be, so that's not an issue unless you choose to make it one when setting up terrain. Same with the other theme I've done.
