Star Wars X Wing tournament will be based on Fantasy Flight tournament rules available on their website..
. Dystopian Wars - Core Naval - 1000 point fleets - no dreadnought class models (e.g. have the word dreadnought anywhere in their description) |

Sunday 7th February 2016 - 1200 - Southern War Gamers kicks off for 2016 - we have a few new enthusiastic people running campaigns and tournaments this year so looks like a great program.
There are specific campaigns on some days and tournaments on others but that does not prevent anyone from coming along and playing any game so dont be limited by the program we have developed. Hope to see a great turn our next day and David's 40K kill team campaign launches. See you there ![]() |

Howdy, 3 mates and myself are interested in the sothern dystopia tournament in march.
Are there any more details beyond the 1k points and no dreadnoughts? Fleet construction, allies and percengages etc? |

ahh quite brilliant We're all quite keen to see how others play and build their fleets for a game Hello, We use the standard fleet building rules from the rule book.. from memory - up 60% on Massive/Large, 60% on Medium and 40% on smalls. Naval is the core force so you must have one ship/squadron from each category before taking non-core. Eg: minimum Core Force One Large OR Massive class naval vessel (not a dreadnought) One Medium naval squadron or ship One Squadron of small naval ships. Once these conditions have been met you can take what you like... (but not dreadnoughts). Missions will be drawn randomly each round using the mission cards. Regards Daryl |

Awesome, that was going to be my next question was table size and how terrain was to be handled.
Close allies and factional allies and mercs going into MFV too? We've really been only gaming using a single nation, but I'm sure we've all got list ideas on adding a couple of units from an allied nation in to supplement fleet holes. |

Final Day of the Year at Southern Wargamers
The Battle of Magnesia 190BC - Romans versus Seleucids Kings of War Historical in 15mm With over 1300 fully painted figures on the table this will be an impressive looking game. Can the Seleucids stop the tide of Roman expansion or will their defeat trigger a slow decline of their empire (as happened historically). |
