After being faced with a huge price hike on ink, material and printing costs, I did some further exploring for a printer to partner with to get Southern Sky Star mats produced at affordable prices.

With our Aussie Dollar tumbling and all the inks and fabrics coming from overseas, that hasn't been easy.

I have had a small quantity of Milky Way 1 & Milky Way 2 done in High Resolution with some new people.

After feedback from the community we've also used a new material that is less slippery and less sensitive to curling while still being easy to wipe down.

However as the new guys were getting used to both the source files and the material there were two hiccoughs:-

1.) The size came out at 36 inches x 35.5 inches.

2.) There are twice as many "2"'s as there are "1"'s and they are narrow rather than short.

I still have the other images in the old media at the correct size along with a couple of Milky Way 2's at the normal price of $50.

However if you would like one of these new batch we'll do the following:-

Milky Way 1 - Hi Res Short :- $45

Milky Way 2 - Hi Res Short :- $45

Milky Way 2 - Hi Res Narrow - $40

They will be listed on the website shortly.

Shipping on Hi Res mats is free to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Canberra and subsidesed to other locations.

Pop over to the web site and have a look.
