Having finally had a chance to read through the list, I don't see that anyone would complain about the army anyway. I think we'll see it allowed pretty much everywhere now.

At the risk of going WAY off topic:
Looking at the book description on the Forgeworld website, it says you need to have copies of the WoC and Empire books. Is this just to run the included campaign, or does the army list rely on those two books? -------------------- Hampton Games Club

The chaos dwarf only needs the Chaos book if you choose to include a hellcannon. But apart from that the list is self contained. There are campaign lists for chaos and empire but they are non-official army lists.

Is this just to run the included campaign, or does the army list rely on those two books? yeah that's right, there's units for empire and WoC in the tamurkhan book, which can be used in standard lists according to it - these are not campaign restricted There's also rules for a "grand host" in the campaign allowing you take armies of WoC, daemons, Beasts and CD's combined which look like fun -------------------- D.O.G club

Sign me up!!! Lucky you are TO, therefore you are safe from me beating you... Hey hey there mate, what did we tell you about this If you wanna threaten people with brawn play Ogres or Beastmen or something, keep it to the tabletop where its fair. Keep up like this and right next to scoring and painting, there will have to be a 'gym' section just to ensure whats left of the playerbase are able to protect themselves from crazed roid-maniacs. -------------------- Warhammer fantasy 8th is awesome!

Ah Foobs, although I would love a push up contest or 3km time trial to add to my score my beatings are reserved solely for the table top where they belong! Although, admittedly they can be no less painful to some -------------------- Playing for fun and playing to win. Not mutually exclusive.

Pretty sure that after 3 round at Book of Grudges if the Gumby had been given comp and sports it would have been leading the event. Can't remember what happened on day 2 though.

Hi Dave, it'll be up a couple of months out from the event (end of Febish) but here's the outline:
2400 points, no restrictions. 6 games, 20 BPs per game Comp - panel based compbattle scored out of ten Sports - checklist don't-be-a-douche stuff, 5 per game Painting - checklist plus subjective scale - 15 for checklist (painted, based, some effort) and 5 for effort (technical ability, conversions, theme, etc all combined) Scenarios at this stage will likely be 3-4 battlelines, and 2-3 random scenarios (rolled by TO at the start of the game). -------------------- The Dwellers Below - A WFB Podcast.
