I'll be there with both my Orcs & Goblins and Circle. I like the names in a hat idea.

I turned up to meet folk around 3ish but I felt a bit lost. Certainly a lot of games were played that I have never seen before but that's cool.

I'll turn up on the 22nd to visit again and see if I can meet some more of you

Sorry we didn't see you, 3 o'clock was certainly busy with lots of games happening, which probably made it a bit overwhelming. Prior to lunchtime we're usually much better at looking out for new faces and being welcoming.

Do drop in again, and don't be scared to approach people. There is always someone in the canteen who will be able to have a chat with you and introduce you to a few of the players in the room, even if they're intensely focused on their opponent and dice!

It was my first visit to WSWA today, and I enjoyed it very much.

Thanks to Aaron and Jesse for their patience in giving me good games.

I'm only three months into my WM/H career but they pulled off the tricky feat of allowing me to feel I lost with honour. Props!

Today : Had a great couple of games , thankyou to Hugh and Brian . Hugh picked it up very quickly and he was rewarded with an excellent win with the Romans against the might of Carthage . While i have played Command and Colours quite a few times before, i hadn't learnt all the rules correctly and we were helped along the way by Brian ,( bahhhhhh , too many different rule sets to remember everything) but I was very happy to provide an opportunity for a new player to have a go at some historicals.
I look forward to more games with Command and Colours and already in the planning is a 15mm Dark Ages, 1/72 Persian and 28mm Hoplite army to play these excellent rules .

cheers Tom
