Does this mean no tamurkhan/Chaos Dwarf list ?

If so that's incredibly disappointing on top of limiting special characters which since the hard back books are toned down and only really there for flavor.

Is anyone going to post the details for scoring ect at some point or are we going to guess?
Also can generic characters be more than 200 points a daemon prince for example.

Martin (the T/O ) has given me the following details to post.

The points limit is 2500 drawn from a single standard Army Book.

No named special characters costing more than 200 points are permitted but you can spend as many points as allowed by the rules on un-named Lords and Heroes.

There are no restrictions on monsters, war machines etc but be aware that it is possible to receive a negative army composition score if you go overboard on these.

Painting Max 10 points
Sports Max 15 points
Army Comp Max 15 points
Battle Max 60 points

Army Comp Base score is 3 and you tick 1 box in each group - Note that the final score can range from 5 to MINUS 1 but 3-4 would be typical

Really enjoyed playing against this army and would like to play against it again 1
The army was ok to play against but nothing special 0
This army was not enjoyable to play against -1
This army was not enjoyable to play against at all and I never want to play against it again -2

This army requires a fair amount of skill to use effectively 1
This army will be competitive when used by the average player 0
This army needs minimal skill to use effectively -1
This army needs no skill at all to use effectively -2

Sports Base score is 3 and you tick 1 box in each group - note the final score can range from 1 to 5

Great opponent - need to arrange a rematch asap 1
Have no problem playing them in the future 0
Poor opponent - did not enjoy playing against them and will try to avoid in the future -1

Very fair opponent - measurements were true and judgement of cocked dice etc always consistent
1
Have no problem playing them in the future 0
Questionable opponent - measurement inconsistent and cocked dice judgements etc in their favour
-1

Thanks for update.

Just one question, do we fill out the comp for our opponents army before the match after we share lists or after the match?

Sorry one more thing, just have a question from a friend who is looking to attend but doesn't have a WAU account. 'Can you ask as well if it is possible to take 2x 150 point special characters, just so it's clear if it is a 200 point tOTAL cap?'

Thanks

Comp is after the game

You can have any number of special characters within the normal max points restrictions for Lords and Heroes as long as each one is less than 200 points.

Christopher Gilbertson paid Monday. Text sent to Mike smile.gif

Looking forward to this, I haven't played in a tourney for about 2 years.

May I ask what is the basis of the comp scoring? Swedish?

See Stormie's post below for how Comp is rated. Don't tend to find the big comp systems over here for Fantasy, the scene isn't so huge.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make Southern Impact. Got other commitments this weekend.

Which is a shame as I've found theres a ton of bias in peer post-game comp compared to something like Swedish which everyone knows what they are in for and can't adjust it after being tabled etc
