 May 21/22 2011 Registration opens at 9.30am Saturday the 21st May Army lists are due by 11.59pm 14th May 2011 $70, Payments due on the 1st of May 4 Rounds Warhammer 40K, 3000 points No Comp (eg. penalties for hard armies, there will be list submission and accuracy requirements) No Sports Prize for Best Looking Army (not included in overall score) Full Player Pack Available Here Army List Template Available Here Realm of Legends Shop 2, 190-198 Mt Dandenong Rd, Croydon VIC 3136 (Cnr Mt Dandenong Rd & Civic Square) Ph. 03 8215 9344 There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and a prize for the Best Looking Army. Please note that this might not be the "best painted" as there is more to appearance than just paint. This has no bearing on the actual Tournament results and so there will no criteria released for it. There will be a three colour minimum (not including the base) which will be rigorously enforced. Offending models will be removed from the table and returned at the end of the day. You will need to bring 2 x 40mm Objectives and 1 x 60mm Objective. No Imperial Armour No Allies 1 Force Org chart and if you are stupid enough to hold your whole army in reserve against an opponent who blocks off all available entry points then the official ruling is.......... you lose!! Use the remaining 3 hours to give yourself a severe talking to. Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be decided by a combination of Battle Points + Tournament Etiquette Points (these points should be the easiest points in the world to max out on smile.gif see the Player Pack for full details) There will be no super complicated missions, we've all played in tournaments where we've either forgotten a funky/strange/silly mission special rule until late in the game or completely. Besides, with 6,000 points on the table everybody is going to be busy enough without adding further complications. Normal 6x4 tables Non GW models are allowed with prior TO approval. Please note that they need to be easily recognizable as what they are (in my opinion). Yes, this means no cubes, no eyeballs, etc. Registration available through the Realm Of Legends store or on Wargammerau. anyone able to help me with my list in regards to comp?
basic run down with what i want to bring. help me ease it up a bit. with me being new to the tournament scene i got an 8 for comp at MiF lol. i was clueless to comp at the time of making my MiF list and still kind of am. in terms of making a more friendly list i've thrown in some units that aren't as popular... not sure if that helps comp, taking units that are unpopular... anyway here's a quick rundown of my proposed list and what i have available painted up etc... HQ ragnar- will accompany 8 grey hunters and a wolf guard in land raider bjorn wolf priest- necklace, meltabombs, plasma pistol (will go with blood claws in rhino) ELITES wolf guard pack terminators x5, x2 combi meltas, powefist, chainfist, wolfclaws, storm shields and thunderhammers in drop pod wolf guard in powerarmour with combi-melta and powerfist (with 8 man grey hunter pack) terminator wolf guard cyclone missile launcher with long fangs lone wolf- wulfen, chainfist, combi-melta TROOPS x9 blood claws- powerfist, rhino x10 blood claws- rhino x8 grey hunters- wulfen, meltagun, banner (with ragnar in land raider) x6 grey hunters- wulfen, meltagun, banner in razorback las x6 grey hunters- wulfen, meltagun, banner in razorback las FAST x2 thudnerwolf calv- frost blade, meltabombs, stormshields landspeeder- multimelta, heavy flamer HEAVY land raider long fang pack x6 x2 las x3 missile long fang pack x6 x2 las x3 heavy bolter just over 2900 right now i'll also post this in an army list forum.. but ppl who are attending this tournament may play me and i just want to get this out to the fellow players so i can get some advice to make the game a good one. thanks Adam This post has been edited by Vojnik: Apr 23 2011, 05:47 PM -------------------- if it bleeds, we can kill it.

It's a 3000pt event, people will have the tools to deal with stuff, so don't worry about it. If you are concerned ask yourself this simple question. Do I feel dirty using this unit/combination? If the answer is yes don't take it. It sounds to me that you have doubts about some of your unit choices. Swap these offending units out and replace with others till you feel happy about where your list is. I have fixed the spreadsheet download, thanx Josh, The Comp that is listed in the player pack is not penalty comp for taking rude lists, it purely there so that we can check all lists are legal.
