At the last meet some were talking about entering this tournament. I believe 3 possibly 4 considering it, and if the date was different, myself and maybe another were vaguely thinking about it.
I believe its on December 10. If so I am certainly not going due to prior committments.

Anyway, for the sake of deciding what will be the monthly challenge for November, who was considering going in The Gauntlet?

Doesn't have to be well painted. Base colour with a few details picked out is enough to get through hardcore requirements

I'm starting to regret not entering this...

I've been reading up and looking at a few things around this whole event - and am considering preparing for next year's throughout 2012.

Good luck guys who did enter - hope you do us proud this weekend!

Well then - no better way to start off a tournie than to roll the best eh. Knocking off the Australian Masters Champion will be something to be proud of.
Grats Jon!

Did what I could Jon... gave a whole League round to the opportunity to practice
The competition in the tournie is quite a step up at all?

Just checked Twitter - why does Glenn have a bye?

Odd numbers means people had a bye but they played one of the qualifiers for the final in a no holds match still. Let's say the prep needed is going to be more than a clubs worth tongue.gif definitely need more games to iron out all the kinks and get really comfortable with the lists. Alot of very good players didn't make it through. Was a great event though, really enjoyed it despite finishing down towards the bottom.

I had the bye cause I was ######! Two losses to start the tourny off but I caught a chump in the last round to get my second win (over Jon)

Pffft, last time I do sevvie on sevvie against you Glenn, those battles always end up in a ###### fight. Seriously both casters with no focus for atleast 2.5 rounds?

Did you play Circle or Menoth?

i went with crutch menoth but put together 2 list that were almost identical and had some large flaws. I wish my battle engine was ready or that i had of swapped the second vanquisher out for something else. Some noob mistakes also hurt me quite badly in some games and everyone there was a good player to capitalise.
