I find that MTG decks scatter really badly when dropped from any significant height.

Also, it's pre-painted, and therefor not worth my consideration.

They also release some pretty noxious fumes when you burn them ... Stand upwind.

(Which I did in the name of research on type of card used and printing specificities. Why? Oh ... no reason ... )

Are you not using a deck box? if you use a deck box then they wont all scatter when dropping them.

how are you dropping them, pulling them from your bag?

if you need to see some deck boxes then look up tolariencommunitycollege on youtube, he does many good reviews of many products.

Latest review

hope that helps smile.gif

I once gathered the magic back in the old days and then cashed in about 15 years ago.

I wish I held onto the cards and cashed in now but alas I still made a healthy profit albeit a much smaller one that i would have made now smile.gif

Didn't think there was mich of a 2nd hand market for old school magic cards due to the cycling out of cards from the competitive scene?

I am talking about sets and big cards. I had a lotus, 3 mox, time walk, heaps of multilands, full sets of antiquities, revised, dark, most of a set of legends plus minor sets that wernt worth a great deal but are still collectable like alliances, ice ace, mirage, visions, homelands.

Sold the lotus for $300 and the moxes and time walk for around $150 in the late 90's. Lotus is now around $8k and moxes at around $1. smile.gif Sold the rest around 2005 I think it was for a couple of grand.

As I say, i still cashed in both times. I furnished my loungeoom the first time and the second time the cash went towards saving for a house deposit smile.gif

OFFS. Do not turn this into a serious thread. The OP does not deserve the satisfaction.

If you want to discuss an actual theme or topic, start an appropriately titled thread with some meaningful input.

I had a couple of lotus cards.

Their provenance was less than authentic - but good enough to pass anything but a very close inspection.

Down to the cardstock, ink and specific colours used.

I believe WOTC ended up with one from the same batch in their rogues gallery that they took with them from con to con (in the us).
