Army lists received so far from

Tim Small - High Elves
Darren Head - Vampire Counts
Mark Kooper - Tomb Kings
Byron Kooper - Dark Elves
Richard Saxon - Chaos Daemons

Gumby - Dwarfs

I will check them over today. Given the low number of entrants there will be no penalties for anyone submitting army lists late (until Friday).

Regards

Mark C

Maybe you should just reward those that entered the army lists in time? biggrin.gif

Knowing Mitch, Sam and Josh I will probably have to chase them on Thursday night to submit a list.

Hey second highest battle points score, not bad for first games with the high elves, just need to work on soft scores. Getting worst comp and worst painting sure didn't help my overall position.

Thanks Mark for running the event, I know it must have been difficult being the gumby army and TO at the same time but I'm pretty sure we all had fun.

Got the lowest in Sport, seriously wondering why...? Did I argue too much or make fluffy rubber movements? I only remember one incident. And I called the High Elves "gay"... How can I improve?

If you look at the scoring criteria, 12/15 is not anything to worry about. I don't have the raw score sheets any more, but that score could mean that you got all the ticks for "behaviour" but just didn't get any nominations for "Only select one of the following if your opponent was exceptionally better or worse than
average". Or alternatively you lost one tick somewhere and you got 1 exceptional tick somewhere else.

Mark, SMILE at your opponent regularly, laugh occasionally. This is sometimes very hard to do as your Hierophant has just been smashed and your army is crumbling around you...but, hey, that's Fantasy!

BTW I'm not being facetious or targeting you personally but a very experienced tournament player once gave me this advice and I didn't believe him at the time but I've seen proof since and it works. Simple as that. If your opponent thinks you're having a good time they tend to mark you up.
