Thanks everyone for your (mostly) positive comments over the last few days, I've been working hard to complete the next step.
Firstly, I've added a few details to the Wyches, most notable of them is I've redone their tubular vials they wear on their belts from being just plain metal, to being glass vials of glowing blue combat drugs. In the few games I've played so far, I've been really impressed with combat drugs and they girls who use them. More on that later. This is a dodgey shot as I couldn't get the lighting to show off the blue, but you get the idea.
IPB Image
I got this effect be using Hawk Turquoise mixed black, then pure Hawk Turquoise, then Turquoise mixed white for the liquid, which goes half way up the vials and ends with a sharp line parallel with the base.
Then shadow gray mixed black and up to skull white for the glass, and 'ardcoat over the top of it all. The glow has just been glazed on with Hawk Turquoise.

The real achievement however is not the wyches, but their shiny new pimp-mobile: My first Raider!

Starbord:

Prow, and displaying magnetised main weapon for ease of transport/weapon destroyed:

Top down:

You might notice here that the crew and 'hangers on' have been converted to be more wychy. Using open helms, as many females as possible and cutting down the armor helps to make the transport look like part of the squad. Hydra gauntlets seemed a good idea too, as I'm not planning on using them in game on actual wyches but I like the look of them.

And a group shot:
IPB Image
Ready to dart into the soft innards of the enemy's lines! Phwar! Or get shot down like chumps. Both is good.

Ok, that's mostly it, just one more shot of what I've got planned for combat drugs. Just like the Battle Magic cards for fantasy, I've decided to make some combat drug cards, to have on the table as a reminder of what is in play and to show my opponents. What better cards to use than these bad boys, the Dark Tarot cards:
IPB Image
Just need one more, then I can re-text the fronts and laminate them.

Next up is either a Ravager, Incubi or Hellions, I haven't decided yet.

Thanks. I often see Dark Eldar armies let down by an overly dark palette, and I wanted mine to be a bit more vibrant whist still having a sinister look. Hot pink and gold was also briefly considered, so show that they are kinda slaaneshii in their own patented Dark Eldar way, but ultimately I thought that would look foolish.

That is pure awesomesauce, and another brilliant idea I'll be stealing. Yes, those hydraknives're awesome looking, no, I won't be paying the points (more bodies are better value)

Progress report: today was a crappy day for painting due to the Melbourne weather, but persevered to do up a hellion test model to batch the rest of the squad off.

Seen here is 'Sinister', the squad's only left-hander, which was a quick conversion using the spear arm of a Raider hanger-on.
IPB Image
Side:
IPB Image
I'm not sure if that's enough graffiti on the skyboard, or whether it needs more pizazz. I'm leaning, as always, towards more pizazz. More complicated designs/multiple colors might come through in the group. They are meant to be juvenile gangs/street kids/skaters in attitude, so they might need more Linkin Park stickers and Anarchy logos than the bikes and Raiders.

IPB Image

And I thought while I was there I would show you just how snug the 4X1.5's fit in the Hellions. The outer circle is the rim of the socket, the inner circle is the magnet itself.
(yes the bottom is painted badly, deal with it)
IPB Image
A snug fit! That's all for now, leave comments etc, also links to possible sources for stylized graffiti welcome.

double beds are kinda mandatory if you want deh ladeez to hang around. Nothing says cheap more than a grown man sleeping in a single bed, unless it's a single mattress on the floor. Because that says 'smack addict'.

Honestly, this army rocks. Fantastic job and the colours are so vibrant. A real inspiration to see this army come together as the Dark Eldar were my first ever army, and seeing what you have done with them is remarkable.

Keep up the great work and get some moar photos for us to see!
