Hi All,
So for those who aren't sure of what has been going on behind the scenes in getting this juggernaught of an event organised, this is a recap. A while back Josh "J.McGowan" McGowan was nominated and voted in as Team Captain. Josh nominated Tom "Buddha" Damin and Joshua "Difsta" Diffey to be co captains. So there we have it, we have the 1st 3 members of the team forming a kind of "Captains Council". The 3 of us have been discussing what style of lists we want to take to Poland, and what codecies best fit that. We will not discuss this part on the forums due to prying eyes from overseas (as if any other country cares about us in Aus, but just in case). An email with more detail will be going out this arvo to those who have expressed interest. So based on these codecies we have been looking at who would best play those lists/styles/codecies/etc. So we would like to officially welcome to the 1st ever Australian 40k ETC Team: Cam "Auty" Auty from Vic Neil "Neil" Phillips from SA Shaun "Durkah" Hogan from Vic So there we have it, 6 players selected, with the final 2 lists/players to be selected. The 6 of us have been working on ideas of lists, players and blah blah blah, get to who it is So the final 2 players for the ETC 40k Team are: Julian "Angmar" Miller from NSW Pat "Onehandedorgy" Carter from QLD (pretty sure that is his handle...) So yay! finally the team is selected. anyone want to give us money to go -------------------- I like baking scones and playing the kays
just sayin... |

Allocated codexes yet?
Any concern for players adapting from comp events to a no comp environment given most guys are used to comped events? Alas, if it was in July instead of August I could have joined you. |

Alas, if it was in July instead of August I could have joined you. not finalized codex's just yet but have a very good idea. no concern about comp<no comp players, ATC sorted alot of that on a small scale, and there is alot of reserch and playtesting being done and has been done for months now. we will be as prepared as we can be and learn the rest when we actually get over there, which is the most important thing. worked out good that you couldnt come, would hate to have to reject you because your a noob -------------------- Sure everyone likes to win, but in the end, the poduim is small and lonely place and you needed everyone else to get there.
