Yeah I need a gaming buddy, I live too far away from my old club, and would get in extra trouble if I have to add two hours travel time to my "toy soldier" absence...

Let me guess,

Your wife reads your posts, had a good chuckle, joked with you about it, then asked a couple of pointed questions proving she notices more than she lets on?

I started to read this latest article you wrote, but it got boring so I stopped. Why would you lie (by omission or by deliberate design) about what you bought or were interested in and why do you care what all those other people (especially co-workers) think of your hobby?

Haha, no. I don't actually have this problem because we do the last line of the article.

Thanks for reading it though.

Oh its a shame you didn't make it to the end. There is an over arching point to the article.

Thankyou for giving it a try.

Given that Betrayal is your #5, what's number 1?

I didn't say it was number five. I said it was in my top five.

My top 5 games every gamer should own are:

Coup
Catan
Ikusa(Samurai)
Arcadia Quest
Betrayal

That's a different list to my top 5 all time favorites. This is my list of games everyone should own because of replay ability, general appeal and level of fun.

My top 5 All-Time

Blood Rage
Arcadia Quest
Scythe
Zeppelin Attack
Terra Mystica

I haven't played a full game since Cancon 3 years ago, I explained to my now wife what I would be doing during the day, left her in the Hyatt spa, thought all would be good. It wasn't, turned out she thought I'd been joking that I'd be playing toy soldiers for three days... Not a fan since.

Have you considered moving this to offtopic, not many people come to this sub forum these days.

Hey Maxo - any chance you've played Folklore? Trying to decide if it's worth backing the reprint on Kickstarter.
