Aussie Masters Crystal Ball Options

This opened up a pretty funny can of worms with the ATC, so lets see how the predictions go for the Aussie Masters.

Jason is going to continue his Dark Angels streak and bring a tonne of TH/SS termis, as with the addition of GK Termis and Palis, they just got a huge comp boost

Shaun "I need mef" Hogan will bring his blood angels. He will talk about bringing a captain on a bike, but will bring his crutch. Mef will not only win his games for him, Mef will also roll the dice, get the drinks and give a good grinding to Leigh on Saturday night

Brodie will bring Eldratar, and why wouldn't he? Its done him pretty well getting him there. He will play Shaun in Round 1, and Eldrad will cause MefDaddy to perils to death

Jeff Dunster will be bringing Wraiths, and lots of them as well as some tricky night fight shenanigans. He will rock up to and face the 3 grey knight players who will wish they paid the extra point for search lights.

Tom's a tough one, he is only slightly less of a tournament whore than me, and plays quite a bit, and after his victory at SA Masters will be a tough contendor. But I rekon he will see the number of Grey Knight players and bring his Dark Eldar and play the "I can shoot from back here all day" game. Tom I think is going to podium, but not bring home the gold.

Neil "I'm a fiend" Phillips will bring 120 Fiends. Not sure how he is going to fit it, but they will be there He will dodge everyone of the Grey Knight players and go bunny hunting but comp himself out of the podium.

Scott will be one of the 3 Grey Knight Players. Just like the other 2 he will comp himself out of the tourney cause Grey Knights are an auto comp hit

Josh "please call my mum" Diffey, surprisingly this is the hardest one for me to predict... I will most likely be bringing Grey Knights, and the list will be one of the 50 currently floating around the net Probably my last one of Coteaz, 20 Palis and 6 Razorbacks Then I'll come up against budha with his dark eldar, in a scoring mission that is dawn of war. Followed by 2 Car Park Guard lists at kill points that just sits at range all day and have demolishers up the wazoo plus psyker battle squads.

Luke will plan on taking daemons, but at the last minute sh!t himself that I'm playing 20 palis with coteaz and take another Guard list with psyker battle squads. He will then continue to make my palis run all day.

Shane will bring his Eldar, ride a sports and comp waive right past some of us more cheesey list writers who have all just comp ourselves out of the race.

Dennis will be the only nids player rocking up to the show. He'll have bug city, and will smash face all day long.

Stacy will bring his guard, and show everyone south that he isn't just an amazing ork player, he can smash face with multiple codecies. Stacy is my bet for the gold.

Dave "the Champ is here" Flemming will bring his "soft" grey knights. There will be grenades, and he will smile and laugh with you as he continues to remove your models off the table. If comp wasn't in the picture he would come first, instead he will be just outside the podium.

Matt will be bringing his Guard and show that he can win games, but still finds the concept of Comp and Sports foreign. There will be many debates over the weekend about craters and area terrain

Leigh who has been out of the lime light all year has just gone smash face in the last couple of months. He will probably bring all the nob bikers, maybe even more nob bikers than Neil's fiends, so that at least 121 bikers. On the saturday night he will manage to steal 3 items from Brides on their hens night, and literraly pick up 2 women in photos.

Tim will come along with his Eldar that his done pretty damn well with all year and the manage to score himself the 3 GK players over the weekend, and not one power will get cast against him cause of his Eldar shenanigans.

So my prediction:
3 Guard, Eldar and Grey Knights
1 Daemons, Crons, Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Nids, Orks and Dark Eldar.

1st place will be Stacy
2nd place will be Tom
3rd place will be Dennis

aaah, you got me! now im going to have to bring my tau and ill just take 9 broardsides instead of 6 and marker light your coversaves away!!

I prefer dead enemies over ones that run away! easier to count!

I actually was thinking of brining tau. the the crud that being posted up here by diffy im reckon id be in line for at least a 4/5 or 5/5 list. that would give me a heap of comp and i reckon i could beat half of you lot with it anyway.

With no painting scores and ( hopefully ) no sports scores to speak of it will essentially come down to battle. The comp scores will unfortunately be match up dependant and therefore largely irrelevant for the top tables. You are looking at a battle event. Matt aird is my pick for top spot, good player, hard list and looking to make up for the humiliation of the Atc.

Wellll, given the number of "gentlemens clubs" around, I don't think going pantless is entirely illegal. You just need ot make sure you do it in an appropriate venue

in the last 14 tourneys you have played (including Floodwars early this year and VICC, both not on RHQ), 13 have been Eldar. I have only ever seen you use Eldrad Avatar Combos.
