First SA Guildball tournament for the year and hosted by Group North Historical Wargames Society.

Tournament Length: “It’s Not Over ‘til it’s Over” – Number of rounds will depend on player numbers. 4 rounds expected but if we get over 16 players there will be 5 rounds. (Max 32)

Match Win Conditions: “Play to the Final Whistle” – 12 VPs

Round Length: “Thinking Time” 50 minutes per player, plus 25 minutes Admin/Clocked out time. clocked out activations will be 2 minutes rather than 1 minute, first tourney of the year so the time restrictions are a little loser to ease everyone in to the format especially for people new to clocks.

Team Roster Selection: ‘Strength in Depth’
8 man rosters with 6 being chosen for each game. Only one captain allowed in the roster.

Match Roster Selection ‘Hide the team sheet!’
At this step of the pre-match sequence, players record in secret the 6 models from their team roster (including one captain and one mascot) that will be active for this match. They then simultaneously reveal the 6 active models.

Fully painted teams. There will be a few teams for loan already painted, first come first served

Any publicly released S2 models will be legal.

Intending to use Plot Cards from Season One, but if the Season Two plots are released and easily available by the tourney may consider changing to the new ones

Cost will be $25 for non members and $20 for club members (includes Lunch)

Doors will be open from 9am with kick off at 10am

Slight change to the team roster section allowing up to 8 players on a roster, if you only have 6 that's fine or alternatively if you would like to borrow the 2 extra players to fill the roster out contact myself or Tim and we will see what we can arrange

Looking forward to it. I played my first clock game and really like that mode. It can really make sure these games don't drag on forever trying to reach the final fixed scores and means you have to work hard and fast during. This gives a better captain/coach position rather than a chess master taking time to plot every move.

Currently sitting at 12 registered players which means we only need 4 more to get sanctioned and get a goodie bag from Steamforged but it needs to happen by the end of this week or we risk missing the deadline
