He only has 1, if you can't deal with it at 1200pts even then you have a major problem.

I dont like the lascannons in the sternguard, they should stay mobile and shoot infantry, its what they are good at.
The ironclad is fine, they are good, but not OTT, and this list needs it.
In general though, the list seems to lack something...

Leela: wow, aren't you Zapp Brannigan? you stopped the fleet of kill bots, right? how did you do it?
Zapp: it was simple really. Kill-bots have a preset "kill limit", once they reach this limit, they shut down. knowing their weakness, i just sent wave after wave of our own men into battle against them, once they killed them all, they were effectively shut down.

Missle Launcher on the drop pod squad. You'll only get to fire it once every couple of games, so you're better off with a more versatile weapon.

Drop the lascannons off the sternguard and buy them a drop pod.

Las/Plas razorbacks don't work. They aren't one weapon system, so you have to stay still to shoot them both. You're better off with the lascannons if you want that style of transport but I think the other weapons are better on it.

Combi-weapons on the sergeants if you can swing it. And a few combis in the sternguard.

Assault launchers are REALLY expensive. I don't run them on mine. I'm not convinced they are worth it.

Las/plas Razorbacks DO work. A TL lascannon can still only fire once. the TL can chose to fire once against a long range target (48") , has the option of firing a TL plasma to 24" (still wounding most things on 2), twice within 12" after moving, or three AP2 shots if it should sit still, two of which are twin linked. And a weapon destroyed result still leaves you with a capable vehicle.

It is lacking combi-meltas/flamers on the sternguard unit.

Chaos, I can see what you've done here with the sternguard and pedro, you are running a duel assault/shooting unit, the lascannons are fine in the right list set up with Pedro, I've seen them work well combat squadding into a support role in a drop pod army alongside Tactical marines setting up a solid fire base deep into the board on deployment...but for this force I think you'd be better off dropping them and adding in some combi-weapons and a Pod for the unit. A HF or 2 wouldn't hurt either. Currently they are on foot which means they will be ineffective and an inviting target for the enemy. They pack a fair amount of attacks for sure, but they lack the assaulty punch of a dedicated assault unit even with Pedro around. Remember that with Sternguard the flexibility lies in the ability to pack combi weapons and thus get anti-heavy armour (melta's)/anti-infantry (flamers) and still have the option of using their special issue ammunition elsewhere. To the HB on the Tactical squad, consider dropping it for a Multi-melta, it'll do more damage in the long run then the HB because of the versatility of targets it can hit.

hmm if you get another drop pod in there you can drop two on the first turn, which could be pretty good with a bunch of combi-weps on the sternguard

but it's your list, looks like it would work well enough as it is

Thanks for the comments and advise guys, so far i hav played 2 games with the list it seems to work ok as is i just need more practice with it i think. The lascannons in the sternguard unit is good i think cause it works out 5 points cheaper then taking them in a devi unit, they are all veterans and pedro makes them scoring. The las/plas reazorback works well although iam conscidering putting it with the sterngaurd instead of the tac squad though. I can understand that the mulit melta might be a better choice then the HB but i dunno i kinda like the HB..

I like the lascannons in the sternguard unit. Scoring dev squad is pretty good imo. Better with something troop killy tho so your 3 bolter shots in the combat squad can be added in.
