Hey guys, I moved to Hallett Cove last month, wondering what gets played at the club? I've posted once or twice re Warmachine so I know ya'll don't play that, but what does get a showing?

Cheers.

Though not a regular member, I visit there once a month and attend some of their tournies (FOW/DW).
There is usually one tournie a month(WHFB, 40K,FOW,DW) they have a list up on one of the threads.
They are into most games both historical and GW and are a fun group of varying ages.
From "my" obs the most popular would be 40K, FOW and DW, though I have seen other periods/rules being played.

The three most played are flames, dystopian wars and 40k, pretty much guaranteed a game of any of them once a week.

Anybody at the club playing Infinity? Considering trying to get into it - always better to join an existing scene…

Any game is welcome - the most common games are: Dystopian, FoW, 40K and in spurts War Hammer Fanstasy, sometimes Battlefleet Gothic, some historical games, late last year some of the guys were playing another space fleet type game (dont know the name), occassionally war machine - the best option is to come and meet some fo the regulars and organise some games, quite of the few of the regulars have other gaming systems and will bring other games along if they know there is a game in it. Also any group playing a different game or looking to revitalise an older gaming system is welcome.
There are no membership fees, jst $5 per session if you get a game in, soft drinks and bottlerd water on sale for $1 but you can bring your own if you want.
We start up the first Sunday in Februiary
Cheers - Mike

No worries, depending how the monthly tournament schedule turns out I might see if I can make it down with some Warmachine then, that's the first time anyone's mentioned playing it down there smile.gif

Where is the club/what's the details on opening/closing time? I can't seem to find a sticky thread with the info and my search fu is weak.

Not sure when the club is starting to run for the year (we have a break over the Christmas period), when its running again it will be open every Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. I probably wont be there to often for the first few months as I'm going to be in and out of Adelaide while i try finding work after finishing Uni.

Just checking in, looks like there may be a few Warmachiners coming with me!

I think I'll bring my Khador, need a bit of practice with an old warcaster (Harkevich) that I'm trying to get back into

Hey guys, I just wanted to say thanks again for having me, work permitting I'm hoping to make it at least once a month for the forseeable future.

Great atmosphere, gorgeous tables, and very friendly people. I'm gunna post some of my photos to my Khador battle report blog (below in my signature), so I'll pop some extras in here of the 40k & FoW I took when I do it.

Cheers!
