If defenses work like FO4 (ie you need to babysit them to actually work), then you're going to sit round for hours waiting to pick off noobs who can't fight back?

Some stuff from Todd Howard from various articles and vids

Using amazon cloud services so very real possibility for Aussie servers

VATS in game (no slow mo when you enter it)

Can sell stuff to other players

Potentially be able to use robot vendors to sell your stuff for you

Can group up to 4 people (potential to change that)

PVP is apparently avoidable somehow (no clarification)

Mothman encounter is a staged encounter

24 - 32 players per server/instance

Main story to follow with 'plenty' of side quests

No vehicles/mounts

Different zones will do different things/spawn different things when nuked

When you log off your camp goes away

Sounds like power armour is top tier and might be necessary for end game (i love power armour but also love other types so it would be annoying if you have to have power armour to do end game)

Private servers and mod abilities is something that might/will come later

There will be minimal death penalty and ways to prevent griefing. This means that Fallout76 will more about co-op and less about kill on sight PVP

On the other hand, the bases we saw in the E3 is the maxium size of your settlement. Well that sucks as I enjoyed Base building a lot. I figured that youd be at least able to build a large sized settlement, with a lot of salvaging.

I now suspect that the devs are holding back content for post launch.
How hard would it have been just to reuse all the building items from Fallout 4 ?
