Alternatively Glen, just come be co-general with me. There will be a definite tick over point from partner to caretaker as I sink tins, but I reckon its still worth it

Or.... LAST MINUTE JIMBO

Come on - you're a LOT more disappointed that Katie is not playing than when old cranky Jimbo doesn't show...

I'm waiting for sanity to Dawn on T9A for WDG which is just what someone would say when they're not really, strictly allowed out of the house...

That WDG book is a complete and utter re-do as far as I'm concerned! <spits on the floor in disgust>. I caught up with two living legends (Jamie and Dan) who stuck with the project, apparently WDG are good now - but who cares? Not me. I reserve the right to be disgruntled. I'm not an MSU ONLY fan. They can get stuffed!

We move on and I will happily play Orcs in 2019(and now almost have a completely new army since quitting WDG - spits again for good measure!).

Kudos to Glen and Haig for keeping the torch alive as well as the rest of the mancave for jockying for position and making for a hardcore competitive scene in QLD which is exactly what sustains the hobby. That's why someone like me would bother horse-trading for giants Vs Lizzy army swaps over FB and Australia post; Why it's worth painting a figure a week (I am slow) on average - because there's a common goal - the torch is alive and burning brightly and hats off to Glen for organising such a good tournament. Round of Applause!!! I hope to make some of your tournaments in the new year where you get to play. armata_PDT_37.gif

Prediction: Heath and Haig in the final!

Thank you for the best-run tournament I've played in 13 years of wargaming. Terrain was *excellent*, results and pairings clear via TourneyKeeper, and as far as I know there were zero schedule issues.

Thank you to 5 gentleman opponents for some memorable games.

Thanks for all the fun this weekend guys. I had 5 tremendous opponents (these days I seem to walk away from every tournament super happy with the good blokes I got to play against - you're a good bunch of lads) and 5 really fun games. Glen I hope some day you manage to find a man list in your purse. Also special mention to Ak who continues his run of dominance over Dave 'Scrub' Trickett despite Trickett's constant bravado.

It was a really fun weekend both at the table and away from it. Even though I didnt get in on Saturday night it was still great hanging out an talking with all the guys away from gaming and getting to know a lot of you better.

Big ups to Dan for the awesome hospitality. Airport pick up and drop off, and VBs on our towels at his house. What a man. QLDers truly do hospitality best, Im super keen for more QLD tourneys and beer.

brilliant weekend Glen well done for a great event. Bobo well done and thanks for crystallising my prediction but next time not by such a big margin please. Nathan great to see you podium with a new army to boot. All my opponents great times, still salty Dave got me 11-9 by 9 vp's thats not even 2 zombros but a fantastic tactical game as ever. I am gonna put a shout out to Lachy who I feel will be a force to be reckoned with in the future so I will memorialise my win and keep it as a keepsake for future bragging rights.

Michael remember our bargin, Pauline is away on permanent sick leave!
