AGM at the first club day for 2016. If you want a say in the direction of the club, please attend and have your say. Afterwards, the historical guys are playing a multi-player game of Rapid Fire. Anyone is welcome to watch or join in.

Timings are as per usual @9.30 - 10am start. Finish: whenever but usually early afternoon.

EDIT: 4 Feb

Latest issue of Quarterstaff is now available here. Cheers. Always looking for interesting articles and reports.

Looks to be a full game of Rapid Fire for the first club day. 3-on-3.

First club day for the year. No AGM held though (lack of adequate numbers).

Historical held a 4-on-2 Rapid Fire II game. Bryce helped out Will and Ollie while Glynn and Simon held Ausfahrt from a combined Russian-New Zealand contingent. 150 pts each player.

By Game Move 5, the Allies were close to attaining their objectives. Notable moments:

1) The Tiger tank turning Allied in Game Move 3 and robbing the bank. Lol.
2) Axis reserves coming on in Game Move 2 and 3.
3) Will's Russian marines knocking out the German panzer reserves (2 out of 3). The lone survivor decided to retreat.
4) The NZ'ers advancing up the train tracks and suffering for it, losing one scout car, two trucks, 3 rifle coys in the process as they strive for the train platform.
5) The Italian artillery causing havoc with the Allied advance.
6) Clearing buildings ended up being a matter of shelling it to death and then dealing with the defenders.
7) Princess Anna was finally rescued by Ollie's Russians but unable to reach the safety of their deployment zone before game's end.

The table was a success and really needs completing.

The other game going was a 40K game between Vaughn and Jason

A few people showed up to watch and comment. Pics to follow.

EDIT: 17 FEB 16
Sorry. Forgot to add these images from Bryce.
