Yo,

Looking at getting a few games to stick the cupboards with...

Specifically looking to get:

- Risk;
- Axis & Allies;
- Pandemic; and
- Flash Point Fire Rescue.

Does anyone have a "best place" to get a hold of them? Pretty sure Mind Games has (or can get) all of them, but there might be some cheap as chips online store...

Cheers smile.gif

Joe Dodgy's is pretty good for cheap online in this country. Overseas there are cheaper but postage on big board games is prohibitively expensive.

Milsims tends to be good prices. If its not in stock it can be a long wait.

Joe Dodgy has good prices and is responsive.

Overseas - Book Depository, Ozgameshop have a limited selection and free shipping. Exchange rate determines if this is a good idea though...

The best and often cheapest Aus place i've found is http://www.gamesempire.com.au/

Other than that amazon when the USD is good or amazon.com.au or the UK amazon has some good deals as well. Book depository can be cheap but the way they pack it you know its gonna rock up bashed up so might as well buy from amazon for a little more (when the AUD isn't down the drain that is).

boardgamesearch.com.au

some dude on reddit created it ages ago... it will search across a stack of companies for stock and gives their shipping pricing ect. Fantastic idea.. wish there was one for wargames.

woops didnt realise it was a massive necro, should have expected it in the board game sub :s

I should also add some general advice here. Don't bother with chick flicks. The sad reality is that a chick flick never leads to snuggling. If there is post movie snuggling it was going to happen regardless of the movie viewed. Females only subject you to chick flicks to either test your dedication, punish you for something or because they don't see you as a romantic option.

It's a very black hole this board game hobby. Almost as expensive as the plastic crack I used to support!
