Last club meet for 2015. Historical lot are running a multi-participant game of Rapid Fire. If not already mentioned, table will be 12' x 8'. 300 points. Axis vs Allied. That's the plan. Will see on the day. armata_PDT_34.gif

Just confirming that tomorrow is still on. Asking that everyone please show up on time. Starting around 10am prompt. Meet up in the rear carpark (down the drive). For the historical guys, don't forget your five bucks - exception: Angus who's already a paid-up member.

There will be a Rapid Fire game happening. The last for the year at the club. At this stage, it's two-on-two. 300 points. Looks to be an 8 x 6 table and boards. Axis vs Allies or whatever you lot decide.

Also have a couple of new guys turning up who are interested in a FOGN tutorial, so I'll be running that show.

But I'll also be bringing along Lion Rampant and my late 11th century mob. Also bringing along both Napoleonic and WW2 naval fleets. And the ubiquitous X-Wing for the kiddies.

David is bringing his terrain boards which is in six pieces. Total dimensions: 2 x 1.5m. If you've seen his blogsite, you will know it will be a greater improvement than past efforts. As such, I'm sure he won't mind if the Rapid Fire crowd use it for their last game of the year.

See you guys soon.

Nice turn out for the last day. The Rapid Fire lads had a three-on-three game on a 12 by 6 table.

A couple showed up for a FOGN tute. One of them bought along a prototype of a modular gaming board design for historical gaming. Very impressed by its design. There are six pieces in all, and it's total size is 1.5m by 2m. Production is due to happen in the new year and the full boards possibly showcased at one of the HistorX tournaments (possibly FOGN).

Have a safe Happy season everyone from the historical crowd at QGG.
