Pre-paint. Blue tac'd together for pic taking only. Not sure when this will see paint. It may get done this month, but I'll see how things go, still have 20 Ork Shoota Boys to paint for my threat first.

Wow that looks great. Great work with the plasticard (rivets, different surface types).

Cannot wait to see it painted.

I like to tell a little story about the last man who was in a sword fight with Caine. During the fight he was heard commenting on how crappy a blade it was, old and busted, not cared for, and on and on. Finally he asked Caine what its name was. Caine grinned and said "Sword." and then shot the guy 4 times.

Id say that's actually quite an improvement - the "head" of the Stompa is one of the weakest parts of the model (it just looks naff) and your conversion makes for a far superior piece.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.

Well, I have a small update on the Stompa. I got it undercoated and today I did a heavy drybrush of Tinbits followed by a drybrush of BoltGun Metal - just to get the base 'steel' look. Next step for me (when I get around to doing it) will be to mask off all the areas I want to remain 'steel' and then hit the Stompa with some Yellow. Anyway, here are some pics of the Stompa looking a little more uniform in colour and appearance...

I took all the following pics outside, so appologies for any excessive brightness...

The Chest plate and head and arms are not premenantly attatched. They will be kept seperate for painting then attatched permenant at a later date.

C&C Welcome as always.
