So with the new change to 32mm bases. Do we have to rebase all our models? Also what goes on a 32mm base? I am lost in terms of what my marines need for bases. sad.gif

In an ideal world we'd like to see all models based on the size the are currently sold on. But this world isn't ideal, so don't worry yourself too much. Personally, the only base size difference I'm not a fan of in game is the old vs new broadside, because the difference is so much. Even then, it's okay I guess. For now.

Thanks JJJJ. I was aware of those, but I appreciate the effort.

...of course, if wanted to be unreasonably pedantic, the "rule" says ..on the base the ARE supplied with...(not WERE) Present tense. What base size is a Broadside (or death coy, etc.) presently supplied with? smile.gif

Ok. I was just asking as all infantry are meant to be on 32mm now. But are still boxed as 25mm. Basically I've already completed my scouts and tactical squads on 25. But my assault squad I was wondering if I should use the new 32mm. Same with my honour guard. smile.gif

Oh. And currently DC came with two different base sizes. In the box it's 25mm and in shield of Baal 32mm. Lol.

Nope. Was what I was told. > <

I couldn't find anything to suggest otherwise on GW site. So... I take it that's not the case.

No, I think its any model GW think will look cooler on 32mm bases.

When 25mm bases stop being sold on the GW site then there might be case for it.

Yes so if a friend of mine had decided to register for arc with his rt nids all his mcs would be mounted on square bases

My sang priest has the same 32mm base... And it's release was the same weekend. That model is a infantry only model. Not a JP model.

Hence when the person told me everything was moving to 32mm and I checked all the new releases.... All 32mm. I didn't question it. But all the older boxes come in 25 still.
