Ragnarok 2017

The League of Ancients SAGA tournament.

Organised by Django Upton.

When: Sunday September 17, 2016 (League of Ancients Meeting),

Where: Club Tivoli, 291 Dandenong Rd, Windsor

Cost = $20 payable in cash on the day.

Registration and setup 9:30am, R1 9:45am-11.30am, R2 11.45am-1.30pm, Lunch & Army Judging 1:30pm-2:15pm, R3 2.15pm-4.45pm, pack up and award presentation 4.45-5pm.

Rules: SAGA Crescent & Cross rulebook will be used.

Scenarios: For the first two rounds players will play different scenarios. Each table will be a different scenario selected from scenarios 1-6 in the SAGA Dark Ages and Crescent & Cross rulebooks and players assigned by the usual Swiss chess draw based on wins. The best effort will be made to ensure players play different scenarios in the second round. The third round will be the Feast for Crows scenario for all players.

Armies: 6 point armies will be used from any official SAGA list. While players may not alter their army lists for the day, they may change the setup of their units for each game. eg join two units of hearthguard together to make a unit of eight, etc. The organiser will play bye games if necessary.

Terrain: Players are welcome to use the club terrain but are encouraged to bring their own. If you have scenario specific terrain, eg bridges, please contact the organiser.

Trophies
• Tournament Winner by game wins
• Highest Slaughtering VP for the First, Second and Third round
• Highest Warlord Slaughtering VP
• Best painted army
(Countbacks are by wins, player matchup results, slaughtering VP, Warlord slaughtering VP, order entry emails are received)

Confirm your entry by sending your army type to django@alphalink.com.au by 15th September.

Beginners welcome. Loan armies may be available, ask on the LoA forum via the website www.leagueofancients.org.au

If there are enough players registered by Friday Morning there will also be prizes. The number and type depending on the number of entrants.
