Our first weekend went really well with a few games played. In 40k the Orks got a well and truly thrashed.
Where as the Skaven vs High Elfs was a Draw as was the Mortal Chaos Army vs High Elfs. So good fun was had by all.
We are all now looking forward to our next one.

2nd Weekend been and passed
We Held a painting Clinic for some of our junior members. A large Multi player game was played in 40k with Orks vs Space Marines and Chaos Marines with Chaos coming out on top.
In WHFB we had a few more games played with Chaos coming to blows with each other. Orks took on the Tomb Kings.
With Numbers swelling at each Sunday Gaming Day we are all looking forward to the next one.

I know I learned a lot from the painting session. Thanks Brent.

I was thinking of staging a big Planetstrike game at our next Sunday Gaming.

Somewhere between 5000-6000 points with a special scenario.

Anyone interested in this?

Either that or hopefully run a Warhammer Siege game of equivalent points.

Everyone is getting ready for another full gaming weekend on Sunday
With a large Twlight Imperium game and a large game of Planet strike as well.
There will of course be our usual games of WHFB as well once again we may have a painting Clinic and there is our bunker challenges to be judged
So this is looking to be an action packed Sunday

Just an update on Planetstrike,

The stage is set and each side has their mission briefings and SECRET objectives (Remember boys...no telling Dad!).

Slowly attempting to paint up some barricades and stuff for Planetstrike, and wondering if i'm ever gonna get that bunker done for the comp. Looks like i'll have to get Old Man's "help" hehehe...

Friday night I'll check the lists over and make some final alterations for the big game.

If anyone has any suggestions/requests for the game, please feel free to let me know.

Regards,

Spartan.

(Incidentally, this means i'll have to pull out of the Twilight Imperium game...Sorry Ryan, i'll take my name off the list tonight.)

Thought i'd finally get around to reporting on the big Planetstrike game we had at the club.

Was a fantastic day, and the destruction sown on the battlefield was amazing. Half the field was covered in craters before the first turn, and the Ork hordes were most impressive in size if not skill.

After 5 turns of mayhem and destruction the Imperium had wiped out half the Ork horde, and the Orks had wiped out the entire command structure, so the end result was a Draw....

...Well technically, considering the planet was blowing up around them i guess you could say that both sides Lost as the planet spontaneously combusted around them.

But nevertheless it was a fantastic game with great fun had by all, despite headaches and lingering hangovers suffered by certain club members...

Any ideas for the next big activity to run? Maybe a Warhammer Siege game? Huge WWII Tank Battle a la Kursk?

Spartan.

Is that 11am...in the morning? what kind of ungodly hour is that?

Lol, given im on the mend, i should hopefully be in attendance. Curse winter and it's cold season.

Hmmm not sure what i'll be bringing. I have a 2500 point High Elf list i'm building up as the models come in. And still working on my Blood Angels list, with Seraphim allies i want to try out.

Anyone have any requests?

Kosta.
