Hi guys,

I'm looking for games in Brisbane. I'm in Oxley, can travel within reason.

Anyone keen?

Nocturnal gaming is better for me. I mostly need to get my 3 year olds to sleep first!

Thanks

G'day mate, I'm currently building a German and Yank force. I live only up the road from you at Ipswich, even have my own table.

I'm not ready to have a game as yet, I'm anal when it comes to painted figs, I thought I'd just put it out there that I'm keen on a game eventually.

I'd say if your looking at games in the evening, I think they play at Ace Comics at Annerley.

Working on,

Republican Romans (28mm) - HC/Impetus.
French Ordannance(28mm) - HC/Impetus.
Anglo-Danish (28mm) - HC/Impetus.
Bloody huge wargames table, happy snaps soon :)

ace comics at annerley is the go on wednesday night, have you visited before balamatt? also you can always try PM fleabag as he lives at ipswich and is always keen for a game as well. I myself go to the Monday knights at everton park hotel every second Monday as they game there and come from the ipswich direction or from west end depending on the day, happy to provide a lift if transport is needed. You may also find that the Corinda News and Post Office now also has a large range of plastic soldier and Flames of war figures on display and accessible. Brisbane independant gamers have a small contingent of flames of war players and meet the 2nd Sunday of the month at south brisbane,

Lol, I'd want a kick back if I was giving someone a plug smile.gif

Nice to see someone carry some historical figs a little closer to home instead of GW stuff.

Shooter64, I spend Wednesday nights at a mate's private residence playing many different games systems, including Flames of War and Bolt Action.

I can't really commit to another night that involves a start time that most people classify as reasonable.

What I am lookin for is either a club that runs till quite late or a private residence where I can play with a night owl smile.gif

Generally I can leave my house by 8:30 to 9:00pm and leave immediately for venue with my army already packed and my list sorted. I am well versed at unpacking ready to deploy within a short time of arrival smile.gif

BTW Corinda news is good. The owner is on WargamerAU, his name is Skusey.

I'm a night owl but only on weekends, week days I have to be up at 4:30am to go to work.

Hit me up next Friday or Saturday night ill give you a game of BA, I haven't played a game yet so be gentle, not sure how many points of Germans I have, should be enough for a decent game or two.

If you have any scenery that would be great, if not we'll just have to wing it.

Thread necromancy ph34r.gif

Matt! Still looking for games?
There's some interest in Bolt Action amongst the QGG folk at Banyo library. Despite never having played a game I seem to have painted a target on myself as an authority on the subject. If you're up for a Saturday drive to the northside I can offer a table and three/four eager newbies to trounce encourage.

It won't be until 7 September so don't get too excited.

Hey Ghost 9. My regular gaming group have gotten themselves firmly addicted to BA and play it at least once a week. I know they'd love to get together with some new blood and Northside is our area (around Zillmere).

Drop me a PM in you're interested.

There is a one day BA tournament on 27 October as part of Ork-toberfest. Here's a link to the players pack: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8221682...rktoberfest.pdf

Looking for games to learn the system. I'm on the Southside but depending on the week I can travel.

Have tables and terrain so am happy to host as well.
