Game descriptions for Little Wars Melbourne are below with a link to our website. They'll be added to over the next few weeks/months, as more details from Game-Masters come in.

There is a booking system for participation games, beneath each game description on the website. Many games are free to join over the course of the day - i.e just rock up and play. However, sometimes games can get overcrowded and people can miss out. To avoid disappointment, we'd recommend booking yourself a spot into a particular game that interests you.

You can book any number of spaces for a game, depending on how many are left. So, you could book a game for yourself and friends/family.

When booking, we will definitely need a name. Phone number and email are optional. An email, at least, would be good so we can notify punters if there has been a cancellation or change in plans .

If you would like to play at a certain time of the day, please let us know via the comments section of the booking.

Thanks, and on with the Games! armata_PDT_36.gif

In a mad Steam-Punk alternate 19th Century, those old rivals, the Kingdom of Britannia and the Prussian Empire, vie with one another for continental superiority on both the land and the sea. But with weird outlandish super technologies to fuel their Imperial rivalries, the scope of this conflict reaches levels as yet unimagined in our own space time continuum.

Chain of Command, by Too Fat Lardies have become the benchmark for WWII platoon level rules. An easy to learn system, that is fun, and rewards real battlefield tactics. The Berwick Wargames Association take the rules into post-colonial Africa where you can test your mettle as a Warlord or Western trained platoon commander, in classical African scenarios like Hostage Rescue, Border Crossing, and The Airport. Your chance to throw-off the yoke of colonialism, stop the decent into chaos, or just play this outstanding set of rules.

A DEVGRU squad has been tasked with the reconnaissance of a Taliban base behind enemy lines. They have to ascertain the number of Taliban, and the layout of the compound, for a future operation. They must get the information and withdraw without casualties. The Taliban meanwhile must stop them from getting any useful information. Capturing a member of the Infidels’ “devil forces” would be a huge propaganda scoop.

Will you be able to succeed in securing these objectives?
