QUOTE(Navarre @ Oct 8 2017, 09:22 PM) *

Can I ask why we are using both points and power level.

Power makes the Ripper Swarm / Flying Ripper list more amusing.

QUOTE(TheTrans @ Oct 9 2017, 09:25 AM) *

Please just make it normal points only.

Having you have to go by both points, but must have the lower of the 2 is just so much buggerising around for not much gain. Also Power Level is so out of whack it's not funny and doesn't allow any granuality (I have 2 units of 8 death riders, so I have to pay 20 power levels for them even though I'm missing almost 5 power levels worth of models)

Points please..makes it so much easier.

Yes Points are much easier to deal with.

QUOTE(BUCKET @ Oct 10 2017, 05:00 PM) *

Quick question, it says at the top that the additional detachment of 20PL doesn't get any benefits from the initial list (i.e. Re-rolls) but does it work in the reverse? i.e. Can a character in the 20PL detachment provide rerolls to units in the initial 1250 list?

Of course not, they are not even friends on Facehole.

Primary Detachment has been set to 1250 points. The 75 Power limit has been removed, as a rather amusing but convoluted list was sent in.

Will the add on second detachment still be 20 Power Level, though 21 works for me smile.gif

Yes, your Second Detachent is to be 20 Power, or 21 if you are bringing a table worth of terrain.

I have signed up and am now embroiled in developing lists for the mighty waaagh of Blingboss Snaggatoof; richest of the Bad Moons (and also least painted so this will let me know what needs to be painted and give me a target to work towards...)

I think I have the 750 points worked out.
Working on the whole 1250 and 20PL now.

...so if you bring TWO tables of terrain, can you do 22PL? I ask merely for clarification - all the 40K terrain at my club is beaten up and I probably don't have time to repair or build new AND paint many orks...

Yes, if you bring 2 tables you get 2 bonus Power to use on your Reserve force, UNLESS, you are travelling further than me, ie Brisbane, at which point you will be gifted a bonus Power.

I really need to read the description of forces closer, did not notice that the original force had to be a Patrol Detachment was originally planning on a Vanguard.

My place was to field the following - Terminator Captain, Terminator Psyker, 2 x 5 Man Terminator Assault Squads with TH/SS, 1 x 5 Man Terminator Squad with Assault Cannon and Chainfist and 1 x 5 Man Terminator Squad with Cyclone and Chainfist. Will need to jiggery pokery it abit or just start again smile.gif

Fantastic!

Rural south-eastern Victoria. Not sure if I can bring any terrain - Most of the army doesn't even exist as anything but a mad gleam in my eye and a pile of scrap materials...

Yes, Reading is more useful than looking at the pictures.

I wasn't sure they still classed Fitzroy as "rural" but what do i know. While i am all for mad conversions and scratch built mans, they still need to be a close approximation to the model it is representing. Ie your Blood Bowl Goblin Cheer Leader is not the same as a Deamon Prince of Corn.

Email me your list and what form of payment you will be offering for your lack of reading skills and the Committee will make a decision.

Which He are we referring to? And i judge all who pass my gaze, and sometimes i will inform them of my judgement and other times i will keep it to myself, unless you are a heavy duty gentleman in a kids size leotard then i will be telling EVERYBODY.

So just double checking is there going to be an official players pack out soon or do we find out any extra details on the day?

Also will we need to submit our lists in advance?

Hello , yes there will be an "official" players pack out shortly. We have had a few amusing games where we have had to do a bit of a re-jig on some mishuns. Keep an eye on the OP.

Yes to lists in advance, Cut off is 15th of January. No list , no play or win.

Your chaos prince of corn, I heard he likes dressing as Goblin Cheerleader, and not just on Halloween.
