Welcome to MOAB 2016!

MOAB 2016 is coming! We are organising and preparing furiously for MOAB this year and it will be held on October 1st to October 3rd

For visitors and competitors alike we have a wide range of activities and services including:

We will have many Traders and Sponsors, like the returning Hall of Heroes, Aetherworks and War and Peace and some of the newer faces like Knights of Dice.

Our famous Bring and Buy stall will be there where you can sell your second hand or surplus gaming goods. There will be more changes to this to give us even more room for you to browse.

The lovely ladies from the Canteen are back offering a wide variety of cooked and hand made food (freshly made sandwiches, the MOAB Kransky, bacon and egg rolls, and drinks) including our highly rated BBQ featuring a new selection of items this year.

Based on feedback we will also be placing as many of the tournaments in the main hall as possible. To keep all the gamers closer to the food and drink at the canteen.

If you are interested in running a tournament at MOAB please contact us via IM or email moab.organiser@southernbattlegamers.org

Also, if you have a participation game you would like to run at MOAB please contact us via IM or email moab.organiser@southernbattlegamers.org

Just wondering about the 40K tournament?
The facebook event seems to be using last years event post?
Is there a new one?
Community comp is being used but will it be using bonus points on a sliding scale or just a cap of comp credits??
Links?

The tournaments for MOAB 2016 have not been created as individual events on the Facebook page yet (its an ongoing process).

The website has all the events and the player pack.

I was looking at the rego page and got a bit confused. Are both 40k comps the same price (ie $50)?

The basic price shows as $50. When you actually go into the Register Now! page it will ask you to select the Days you wish to attend.
All 3 Days is $50.
If you change the drop down to Sat/Sun the price changes to $40
If you select Monday only it changes to $30

We have just recently added two new tournaments, Malifaux, Epic and 9th Age.

Its great to see Epic coming back as an event. biggrin.gif

We have a total of 20 different tournaments being run at MOAB 2016.

MOAB 2016 Events

We also have some online supporters that will be providing sponsorship for events:

Maxmini, Wargame Exclusive and Raging Heroes will be supporting Warhammer 40k
Toy Soldier Imports will be supporting Infinity
Warlord Games and Mini War Store will be supporting Bolt Action

Also note that the Early Bird Special pricing will end on 11th September 2016, so if you want to register its beast to do so before then and save money.
