Hi Guys,

Results for 27th May now posted, in the main post. Note the guys were so keen to get it underway the teams reformed a little, not that they are Necrons. armata_PDT_05.gif

Great game guys.

English and I pulled out a minor win (kill points), but full credit to Junior and Joseph for salvaging a draw when it came to mission tokens. (Sneaky Veil move, then awesome leadership roll when Trygon assaulted. smile.gif)

Cya,
Andrew.

Hi Guys,

I have updated mission 3 and from the 17th July your games will be based on 6th Ed. I have also extended the closing date to the last club meeting in October due to the introduction of 6th Ed. I will be purchasing the prizes in July. Good gaming... armata_PDT_14.gif

don't andrew and english need a second game added to their results?

Or is mission 3 up for a replay

Hi Wayne - I actually can't remember when pressed - might have to get English and Junior to chip in. Things I know:

1) Four points each (draw) - both teams ended up with the same number of markers;
2) + 2 for us as we had more kill points;
3) +1 for us (misalignment);
4) +0 for us (painting - er +1/2 for English's painting? smile.gif )

Don't know the painting/misalignment scores for Junior's team. If they've played a previous game - perhaps take from that?

Cya,
Andrew.

Wayne

A few questions for this in regard to 6th ed.

Psykers, can they elect to drop their powers for new ones at the begining of the game?

Mission setup and special rules I assume are still treated as the 5th ed versions

So Mission 1 deploy upto half the board edge + unit deployment restrictions, night fight turn 1

Mission 2 & 3 is table quarter deployment

Mission 4 & 5 is 12" deployment

night fight only in mission1 turn 1

Yes to all - the pain of transition.

My personal thanks to Wayne (and others) for organising the Club Doubles Beer Wars, they were fun games.

There is always a lot of work involved in working out the Missions, plotting the results, getting the teams together, providing Prizes, etc for the Club Doubles Beer Wars. I also much appreciated being invited to participate (not being a confident player for the regular Comps) .

We are so very lucky to have such a great Secretary holding the Club together. I hope all of you regular players, some of our lapsed players and some new players will be able to turn up for contest next year.

Well said John!

I'll add my voice to that - Wayne puts in a lot of time and effort to make opportunities for us all to play.

Regards,
Andrew.
