my Main armies:
approx 3000+ points of Blood Angels, can also be used as normal codex space marines
approx 1000 points Tyranids (not all fully painted yet)

my Other forces:
a few hundred points of Orks (not enough for a full army but could maybe combine with someone elses force)
a few squads of Imperial Guard (not enough for a full army but could maybe combine with someone elses force)

Hmmm....we USED to be the Necron club (high point of 7 players I think) but it appears that we are now the Tyranid club. Followed by Eldar (who win hands down on sheer pointage due to Michael). Armies that are missing would be :

Alex Chaos/Demon,
Alek [gone North] IG/Dark Angel,
Tim [absent] Tyranid,
Ryan [HSC?] Black Templar,
Mark S. [injury] Chaos/Space Wolf,
Jacob IG?, Thomas [Good Games?] Necrons,
Chad [absent] Chaos

Mark S. [injury] Chaos/Space Wolf,

That had me confused for a moment before I realised you were referring to another Mark S. smile.gif

Clearly, there are too many Marks in the world...

To avoid confusion, feel free to refer to me as Groover, Shepp, The Dude or Hey You. wink.gif

Dark Eldar army (1999 vintage) over 1500 pts and hasnt been updated to latest Codex.
Main 40K army various Space Marines, inc Black Templars and Deathwing DA.
I also have about 100pts Imperial Guard inc some finished/painted (ass colour scheme experiments) Storm Troopers, Cadians and 3 Camo Sentinel Walkers, together with boxed Catachans.

Although I had 40K in 2000, it was not until retirement in 2006 at age 61, that I was able to get my 40K into action, at which time I only accidentally discovered the Northern Knights Club less than 1km from my home, my wargaming interest had been secondary to model making and on hold since 2000 for want of any 40K opponents. In the meantime I have used computer games like Total War and Tin Soldier and XBox as opponents whilst modelling a display case full of WW2 dioramas.

I also have the beginnings of a Warhammer Empire Army and a 12 creature Mordheim Skaven Warband.

PS Dont know how to get my scary Dark Eldar pic onto website with my LogIn, can someone please advise?

DarkOne
have a look in the painting and modeling section, i think that the title is "posting pitures 101" and goes through all the details

Also for adviced on your DE army try talking with ArchonCryx he may sometimes have horrid dice but he does know how to use the army very effectively and he has gone through most of the play styles at one point or another. I believe that his favoured tactic is using 2 webway, lots of raiders, and lots of close combat potential. basically fast fragile and brutal

Welcome, man. I'm pretty new myself (only been to two club meets), as are a couple of others, so you're in good company. smile.gif

I noted in your signature that you're also a WHF player. There's another new guy at the club, horse, who would probably be interested in a few games of Fantasy.

Catch you at the club. armata_PDT_36.gif

Welcome aboard. Just in time to participate in the Blitzkrieg Challenge next month. Good timing. And another Necron - we just might be able to get enough to have a Necrons v The Rest campaign at some point.

Might also be worth putting up that I have an 8,000pts Epic Ultramarines army. It pays to advertise, and you never know your luck in The Big City—there might be other closet Epic fans out there. smile.gif
