Yes - SWMBO now limiting my extra activities a little. Do we want to have a break and resume it early next year or do you want to push on and wrap it up this year as planned ?

I'm bit tied up with TAFE at the moment as things are wrapping up for the semester so it would be bit hard for me to issues orders at the moment so ideally it would be good to have a break.

i'd be happy to concede defeat to order and get reay to plan next years campaign... if we have one. With new codices being released it will make it a little bit more interesting.

Order and Disorder want to unite forces to wipe Galum out by means of an unholy and dishonourable alliance, by which you imply that Galums loyal defenders wont be beaten by any of your separate forces on our home ground. Persians, remember Macedon, we may appear small in number, but we will defend ourselves to the death!

You (like Russia and Germany) invade our planet (which fels a bit like Poland) uninvited and you dont want us to fight to stop you destroying it and to throw you out?

Bribe us! NO WAY! What makes you think we can be bribed by those unwilling or unable to defeat us.

We would rather give over rule of our planet to the Dark Eldar and die as their slaves. You wouldnt want to fight against THEM in overwhelming numbers. If we cannot remain independent, maybe we should just extend the alliance with the Imperium and call in a massive Occupation Force of Imperial Guard (though we'd then probably never get them to leave) and your bones would fertilise our rice fields.

I think it will be a pity if the Campaign has to end uncompleted. I enjoyed every battle I fought, so thanks to everyone who had to fight Galum. I think it was an interesting campaign and I learnt a lot.

And so all invading forces leave Galum when the Campaign season ends after the radioactive dust storms arrive in the Solar Wind? Sounds like a victory for Galum then, as the home team I think still has the Professor which means Galum gets to develop his secret technology!

I'm with John. Surely we can't be far off the end.

Cya,
Andrew.

Is there anyway to get this thread unpinned from the top and replace it with a new one for the coming campaign?

In my opinion, the Galum forces were pretty minimal light forces last time with few heavy weapons (except the train) and only just held the fort because time ran out!!

Its just an offer to help, but IF members want to both finish the Galum 2008 Campaign AND start the new 2009 Campaign, but time at the Sunday Club meets is not available to do both, I would be prepared to host the remaining battles of the Galum Campaign at my joint in Westleigh (either indoors or outdoors) say, one a month on either Sats or Suns (when there arent Club games on) in order to get it finished properly.

Round 1 results were a draw, in a kill points mission. Wayne fled the battlefield therefore order claim the objective...JOY!

Did the commanders put their results in? Are there any new battles to report? Would it be possible to have a system implelented if nothing happens in a round of orders (no battles or significant findings) that they commanders issue the next set of orders to keep things moving?

I put the Disorder orders in - haven't heard back from Wayne, though. Am assuming that this means the campaign isn't on tomorrow (Leviathan - too many away)? Don't know.

Andrew.

I got an error message in the software when trying to enter my orders, thats why they havent gone in yet.

I sent a screenshot of the error to Wayne to investigate.

Hopefully we will have it fixed soon.

Yep - Ultras (assuming Chris) versus Orks (Wayne), from memory.

Cya,
Andrew.

P.S. Yes ... need to write up previous battle. Work (and painting - need this to relax!) getting on top of me. smile.gif
