Hi Guys,

I am thinking of doing a raffle that will be drawn on the Open Day for the new GW Speed Freeks game at $5 a ticket. Would you be interested and do you think 40K players would be interested?

Regards

Sure, I’d be in it! I can break it up and sell them to English at a nice juicy price. Haha.
By the time the Open Day arrives, there might be lots more shiny box set options to use as an option. Perhaps just not commit to the actual prize yet? But I think the idea is solid 👍

^Agree with this^ Idea is good, not 100% sold on the prize at least till we see what starts coming after Xmas.

At or around the price point of Speedfreaks I wonder if a couple of start collecting boxes or even the Kill Team starter would be another alternative.

Hi Guys,

The reason I thought that Speed Freeks was a good prize was that it is standalone, ie open box assemble and play. But I will wait until the New Year to see what else comes out that is stand alone.

Regards

Yesterday you mentioned having someone go to Cherrybrook Tech Adepts to spruke open day and sell raffle tickets. I just looked up their Tournament details. I am free that weekend but am not in a position to compete.

Are there any club member planning on attending or competing for part of the time? I am happy to go in for a day to maintain the clubs presence.

I can swing past Cherry Brook Tech adepts on the 23rd Feb in the morning to sell tickets if you like.
