Bunnings do still stock them. I got one just the other day!

that's good!

Anyone seen them on display in Sydney stores on their travels? my local (Artarmon) is out of them and was wondering where to go (especially somewhere on or near the Nth Shore). I'd rather stick to the original because that's what the foam was designed to fit!

Also, if anyone can do a community service and find out what product code Bunnings have for the cases it'd make it easier for us all to simply call around the stores with that code number instead of trying to describe it to a staffer who probably has no clue... biggrin.gif

Ok, the product number for said product is one of the following:

F/L: 5811652 OR
04005187202007.

I think it's the first one, and the second is the barcode number. I just have a pic of the label I snapped on my phone, but they were able to use the number to look it up in the oracle system.
HOWEVER...the oracle system, is just like the oracles in 300, you need a very highly trained Bunnings member to use said program (or so it seemed when I went on my mission) and it can be a complete ballache!! If you get stuck, let me know and I'll get you a case from Melbourne!

Ok, the 1st one is the go, ie 5811652 just ask for the Craftright Aluminium case and use that number if the staffer is being incompetent. As of today, Artarmon and Chatswood don't have any, but Thornleigh has a few (and I stopped searching once I found them). It sounds Bunnings haven't had a shipment for a while and the last few stores are running out their stock...

Thanks for that Iaphyr.

It's always the way. I've been running Mini-Soft for 3yrs now and Bunnings stock of cases has also been cyclical. They will go from having none for a few weeks, then to having heaps for few months, then back down again.
Problems should be solved soon when I get my own supply of cases. Stay tuned...

I picked up the 2nd last case from Thornleigh Bunnings for Iaphyr.

So yeah, there's 1 still there for anyone interested.

yep, confirmed it was an out of stock period. when i visited 3 bunnings all of which confirmed out of stock or that they wont be re-stocking i took it as gospel.

since i have never had an issue (note i also used the inserts for a table piece)

Cheap as Chips also stocks a version of this case and it doesn't even need to be modified unless you really, really want a shoulder strap, its $25.

Bunnings Corio had quite a few in today when I went through there.

Was having some dramas finding the Craftright cases at Bunnings so I grabbed one of the larger Super Cheap Auto Ones. Fits everything like the Craftright ones with a little bit of modification. Had to remove one of the padded side bits from inside the case but once that was gone, no worries.

The trays are a bit snug, but I reckon removing one of the padded bits from the long sides of the case would allow for a little wiggle room.

They seem to have them on sale pretty often which brings them down to the same price or sometimes less than the others. Can't remember going to an SCA and them not having any of them.

I was at bunnings on the weekend and they still definitely had these cases in stock. Oakleigh, Vic.
