Only Warscrolls and Warscroll Battalions with Pitched Battle profiles will be included in the event. Only the most recent warscrolls are allowed.
3rd party miniatures are allowed as long as they are a fair representation of the model being replaced

Missions
Will be rolled for on the day, before the next round starts. No mission will be played twice.
Possible Missioins are: Knife to the Heart, Total Conquest, Duality of Death, Battle for the Pass, Starstrike, Scorched Earth

Secondary Objectives
You will have access to 5 secret Secondary Objectives for the event, 3 of which will be used during the tournament. You can only use each secondary objective once.
Before deploying the first unit, each player chooses one secondary objectives, marks it on a piece of paper, but will not revealed to his/her opponent! At the end of the game, both player reveal their objective to the opponent.
Secondary Objectives are important as they are the primary tie-breaker at the end of the tournament.

Secret secondary objectives will be announced closer to the tournament.

Matchups and Scoring:
All rounds will be matched up based on the following criteria:
1. Current Score
2. Secondary Objectives claimed
3. Kill Points
4. Grand Alliance
5. Faction

Match Scoring
You will automatically achieve a set number of points based on how well your army did during the match.
Major Victory - 15 points
Minor Victory - 12 points
Draw - 6 points
Minor Loss - 3 points
Major Loss - 1 point

Kill Points
Point values of all slain enemy units (the whole unit needs to be slain) needs to be marked on the score sheet. This is important as they will be used for Tie breaker!

Paint Score
Your army will receive a painting score based on the following criteria
At least half your army is painted to 3 colours minimum
Your entire army is painted to 3 colours minimum
Your entire army has highlighting/shading
Your entire army is based
Your army has conversions
Your army has a painted centrepiece model with highlighting/shading and basing
You have bought a painted display board
Your army looks cohesive

Each of the above will gain you a single painting point up to a maximum of 5 points. At the end of the tournament, you will gain this number of points for each round of the tournament.

Player`s Choice
Each player will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite player at the event. This may be because they gave you the best game of the day, or have a really awesome army. The judgement is up to you. This will be used to determine the Player's Choice award as well as for tie breaking your final score.

Prize Pool
Depending on how many people sign up, the following prizes will be up for the taking:
First Place
Player’s Choice
Second Place
TO's Choice
Best in Alliance (Order, Chaos, Death, Destruction)
General Wooden Spoon
(aka Mr “Never played this army before”, Mr “I am usually better”, Mr “my breakfast tasted funny”)

Please pay in advance, as this will encourage more people to sign up and come, increase the prize pool, so that more people can go home with something in their hand.

Overall Place
Your final score for the tournament is calculated as follows:
Battle 1 + Battle 2 + Battle 3 + 3*Painting = Final Score

In the event of ties, tie breaking will be done as follows:
Total Score
Secondary Objectives claimed
Kill Points
Players Choice
Old wisdom prevails.

Old wisdom prevails:
In the very unlikely case that neither Total Score, Secondary Objectives nor Kill points are sufficient to decide a Tie, if applicable, the army with older rules (no battletome, compendium army…) will prevail over armies with the newest toys and rules.

Players Choice
Players Choice award is also available on the day, based on favourite opponent votes.

Tie breaking will be done as follows:
Favourite Opponent votes
Painting score (uncapped)
Tournament points (the one with less tournament points wins)

That is all for now and time to sign up!
