ARMY COMPOSITION ... don't be a Jerk!

Fun and Fluffly armies are encouraged

• take an Army List that you and your opponent will have Fun
• if your Army List can TABLE an opponent by Turn 1, 2 or 3 = not FUN … tone it down.
e.g. Devastator squads = take Missile Launchers or Multi-Meltas instead of Lascannon, is a perfectly good example
• how hard your army will be included in Sportsmanship

ARMY LIST : ... refer to the 7th ed Rulebook
You are Free to choose between Unbound or Battle-forged.
You may have one or more Detachments.

Please remember that you will be PEER voted, so if you bring a very hard Army List (e.g. Superheavies, Gargantuan, 5 Heldrakes, Daemons summoning more Daemons, Screamer star, etc.) you will likely be skulled and therefore not win ... you have been warned.
• Army List 888 points.
• All current Codex AND Codex Supplements army list (cut-off date on the day of the event). It is your responsibility to have the printed Codex/Rulebook.
• All current Digital codex armies, supplements and Formations will be allowed. It is your responsibility to bring a readable source (through a ipad, e-book reader and/or printed material) for reference and to show to your opponent.
• Anything Games Workshop and Forge World. Use the most up-to-date source. This includes Apocalypse Formation and Datasheets (Reason: the game is changing so much that it doesn’t matter anymore). This also includes Forgeworld Experimental Rules.
• If in doubt about whether your army is legal, please ask first! You may NOT take Army List or Codices superseded by later publications: e.g. no Feral Orks, no Codex Catachans, no Death From the Skies (use Shield of Baal Levianthan instead), no Crusade of Fire, etc.

Count As
All models used must be of the appropriate size and type for the troops they represent. For the benefit of all players, ‘What You See Is What You Get’ WYSIWYG will be enforced. If players have any doubts about how accurately a miniature represents a troop type, they should consult with the Tournament Organizers prior to the tournament. This is a loose WYSIWYG, but there will be no grots posing as terminators or the like, if the miniature is a reasonable depiction of what it represents then it will be allowed, as long as there is no obvious deception with the way it works. An example would be using a flamer to represent a melta gun. This will be ok as long as you don’t have other flamers running as different weapons or even flamers. The proxy will have to stick out so that your opponent knows it is a proxy. Once again on this issue consult with tournament organizers if you have any doubts

Apocalypse Formation & Datasheets
No Apocalypse Formations & Datasheet … this has been superseded by 7th edition Formations.

SPORTSMANSHIP / ETIQUETTE
... Don't be a Dick! = play nice or you will end up Dead Last …

At the end of each round you will be asked to give each of your opponents a Sportsmanship Score.
• 10 points : Handed in Your Sportsmanship result

Each opponent will assign a Sportsmanship score to you.
For each criteria they scored against you, you will receive less points. Play Fair!
• 100 points : Your opponent gave you 0 skulls
• 50 points : Your opponent gave you 1 Skulls
• 25 points : Your opponent gave you 2 Skulls
• 00 points : Your opponent gave you 3 Skulls

Tournament Organizer’s Notes: On the Saturday 4 player per board, there will be 3 lots of scores from each opponent and on the Sunday Doubles there will be 2 lots of score. Even if you receive one hit from each of your opponent, you will suffer a huge lost. We encourage for you to use a Fair army list, play nice and have Fun.

SKULL Criteria
• Not Fun sad.gif : The game was NOT enjoying.
You do not want to play THAT opponent again … EVER!
• Cheater! : Your opponent Cheated, Bend rules, Modelling for advantage, using Count As rules for advantage (e.g. using Space Marines as Space Wolves), Count As Models were confusing, did not resolve rules disputes, moving extra distance to gain advantage, Slow play, “Forgetting” rules that will hinder themselves, accepting cocked dice, and/or whatever discrepancies to gain an Advantage = … CHEATING!
• Broken! : Your opponent’s Army List is Bull S@%# = … BROKEN!
You could not Win … rightly so because you may have been tabled.
You had NO chance against such as list.

BEST SPORTSMANSHIP
• +10 : for submitting the player you think is the Best Sportsmanship player you battled against
• For each Best Sportsmanship vote you receive from your peers, you will receive a sliding scale vote.
1 vote: +10 points
2 votes: +40 points
3 votes: +90 points
etc.

SNIPING
We will not tolerate players sniping others to gain an advantage. If we determine (at our discretion) that you have deliberately snipe someone, those Skulls will be reversed back on you. Please be honest, even tell your opponent so that they may correct their behaviour.

PAINTING ... (and Conversions)
• +10 : for submitting your choices for Best Painted Army.
• no other bonus points for Painting. There will be a number of Painting Awards.

There will be NO minimum Paint Requirement for this Event. This means that you can bring Assembled-Unpainted models if you wish.

Assembled but Not Painted/Undercoated/Base Coated: opponent receive Preferred Enemy … if they already have Preferred Enemy, rerolls 1’s AND 2’s.

BATTLE
... To truly feel that everyone has the chance to win, having FUN is most important.
… Winning should only be your secondary objective.

House Rule: … the following additions will be included in all Battles

• Khorne’s Lucky Number 8 : if you roll an Natural 8 on 2D6, you may change the result anyway you like, except for Box Cars and/or Snake Eyes.

• Lucky Hit! : Cannot hurt something? Your model may choose for the target to gain the Invisibility Telepathy Psychic Power, your models’ ranged and melee weapons gain Gauss, Entrophic Strike, Poison (6+) … see in table below.
Ranged & Melee weapons have If already have … gain
Gauss Tank Hunter
Entrophic Strike Tank Hunter
Poison (6+) Monster Hunter

• Redraw Maelstrom : In Missions of Maelstrom if you draw a card that you cannot achieve only because your opponent does not have the unit type, show it to your opponent and if they agree you may re-draw. If your opponent disagrees get the TO intervene and Skull them later.

Battle Points
• +10: Handed in your Results directly to the TO and he didn’t need to chase down your results.
• Win Lost Draw:
Win = +2 points, Draw/Loss = +1 point

Bonus Points
• +2: Martyrdom – your Warlord was SLAIN (one or more times).
• +2: Psychological Warfare – one or more of your units Failed a morale test.
• upto +1 per player: Reserve Linebreaker – Denied for each opponent from obtaining Linebreaker.
• +5: Mission Bonus = varies per mission
• +5: Eggs in One Basket - Your most Expensive unit was completely destroyed, one or more times.
• upto +5 (max +5): Objective Denied – For each Objective your opponent does NOT control at the End of the Game.
• upto +5 (max +5): +1 per Game Turn completed

ROUND DRAW
-First round draw will be matched randomly.
-Subsequent rounds will then matched randomly ... the idea is to have the most fun and play against opponent you've never played before
-We will do our very best to not match you against the same player twice.
-Blood Rule: If possible, we will try to avoid matching you with players you will play regularly.
-Grudge Match: If there are individual(s) you'd like to play, let us know and we'll try to arrange a fix-matchup for you. You can arrange one or more Grudge Matches.
