Micky Ward (Micky) Jurisdictional Command of Bakunin

Something not clear from the players pack is the time between each round, ie. how much time we have to aquire, build and paint our next round of models.

Ah good point. Will be a month between each new round. So first round kicks off on the 14th of Feb, the next will be 14th of March. There may be a few days difference between, it will always kick off on the Friday closest to that month turn around. So there really is heaps of time, super laid back smile.gif Players dont have to verse one another on that day, just some time during that month. So if two players need a little extra time to get some stuff assembled painted, they can discuss a date which suits them both.

So only 1 game per round against a specific opponent will count for the league? But no issues with us playing "Practice" games against other league participants?

I think that is pretty much the case, play your opponent for the round then whoever you want as practice games.

Correct, but its encouraged that players play as many games as they can squeeze in. Just the single official game will count. Every having to play everyone each round, starts to become to unwieldy to fit in with peoples schedules.

But with a month to go, nothing is locked in, plenty of room of change. Anyone have any suggestions for playing multiple people per round?

to encourage painting I can get a hold of a signed rulebook ( core and HS ) by the CB team for $100 if people want that sort of thing. Of course would require players chipping in $5 each maybe to cover it if we get enough numbers.

QUOTE
I want to be the very best,
Like no one ever was.
To paint them is my real test,
To play them is my cause.

I will travel across the land,
Searching far and wide.
Teach Pan'O to understand
The power that's inside

So to achieve my dream of owning all the things... I will start something brand new that I've never used... I'll be rolling Panoceania; Shock Army of Acontecimento.

In regards to encouraging extra games, it could be that for each Tier you choose your best result from the games you've played that month, but the next month you can't use the result of a game played against a previous recorded opponent. For example; in the 100pt round I beat up Mike's Aleph and use that score, next round my results against Mike can't be used so I use my score from a game against Micky, the following round I can't use a score from Micky or Mike so I have to use a score from yet another opponent. This would ensure people don't just turtle and play the same opponent each week (although just because I may have used a score from my game against Mike doesn't mean he did, so he may come back for a rematch).

You could also throw in some incentives for the new guys vs the experienced (didn't want to say "old") guys, like bonus points for that round or something.

With regards to painting, Big K, it is already stipulated that unpainted models won't grant orders; which in Infinity is huge.

EDIT- Also, Ghostmaker, they usually get released last week of the month... So you should get hands on your models at the start of Feb. For the 50pt round you'll only likely need 2 models complete, 3 at the very max.

Already spoken to the supplier. They should be released from CB either end of this week, or next week. Take a week to get to the supplier. Then sent out to me. My 50pt list is only 2 minis.

after some serious thought can you change my army to Yu Jing Japanese Sectoral Army please.. Decided seeing as I am just learning in a big way it would be best to use an army that could have multiple of the same models with the same stat lines.

I'm planned up to the 200 point tier (I actually started there and worked backwards)... But only have a vague notion of where to go from there. At the moment I think I'll see how things go and try to work out what needs adjusting after getting in some games.

Quick question.

The player pack mentioned at LT is not needed for the 50 point training phase.

Why not change that from No LT to No Legal LT so you will still use the LT rule as its a core mechanic of the game but it need not be a legal representation. Example taking a Father Lucien Sforza as your LT for your first game when you normally could not.

This way even if you're only bringing 1, 2 or 3 models non of whom could be your LT at least you're using the LT order and learning how it is and isn't use.

I second this. Lieutenant orders are important things to have.
