No news lately, I'd be expecting a release some time in April. Which means it should hopefully come up in the next GW online newsletter.

Considering GW just signed a new agreement with Tolkein and New Line Cinemas for the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit rights, I'd say they would be busy designing stuff to tie-in with the release of the new movie in the next couple of years.
Other than that, they would probably be focusing on Wotr models and units as opposed to stuff for the SBG. -------------------- 2010: 1st Unicon WoTR (Dwarves), 1st Narsil WoTR (Dwarves), 3rd Narsil LoTR (Dwarves), 4th Unicon LoTR (Dwarves).
2011: 3rd Narsil LoTR (Lothlorien), 4th Minimize LoTR (Galadhrim), 4th Narsil WoTR (Dwarves). 2012: 1st CoTT LoTR (Minas Tirith), 1st Narsil LoTR Sydney (Isengard), 2nd Minimize LoTR (Isengard), 3rd Conflict LoTR (Mirkwood), Best Army/Players Choice Minimize LoTR (Isengard), Best Army/Players Choice Conflict LoTR (Mirkwood) 2013: 1st Minimize LoTR (Mordor) 2nd CoTT LoTR (Eregion and Rivendell), 3rd Grand Alliance Doubles LoTR (Minas Tirith), 5th Arcanacon LoTR (Isengard), Best Army/Players Choice Minimise LoTR (Mordor) Best Sports Arcanacon LoTR (Isengard) Current Project: Mordor |

QUOTE Other than that, they would probably be focusing on Wotr models and units as opposed to stuff for the SBG They are committed to supporting every new release in both systems, so if there are new WOTR goodies we can expect them to be released for SBG too. -------------------- |

GWs focus for the next three months;
April - Grey Knights May - Tomb Kings June - Dark Eldar second wave July to September looks like the only time they could fit Lotr/Wotr in... -------------------- 2010: 1st Unicon WoTR (Dwarves), 1st Narsil WoTR (Dwarves), 3rd Narsil LoTR (Dwarves), 4th Unicon LoTR (Dwarves).
2011: 3rd Narsil LoTR (Lothlorien), 4th Minimize LoTR (Galadhrim), 4th Narsil WoTR (Dwarves). 2012: 1st CoTT LoTR (Minas Tirith), 1st Narsil LoTR Sydney (Isengard), 2nd Minimize LoTR (Isengard), 3rd Conflict LoTR (Mirkwood), Best Army/Players Choice Minimize LoTR (Isengard), Best Army/Players Choice Conflict LoTR (Mirkwood) 2013: 1st Minimize LoTR (Mordor) 2nd CoTT LoTR (Eregion and Rivendell), 3rd Grand Alliance Doubles LoTR (Minas Tirith), 5th Arcanacon LoTR (Isengard), Best Army/Players Choice Minimise LoTR (Mordor) Best Sports Arcanacon LoTR (Isengard) Current Project: Mordor |

Well for July they have just announced the release of "storm of magic" for warhammer fantasy (essentially Apoc for fantasy). Guess this means no new lord of the rings til August/September
