QUOTE(Buddha @ Oct 6 2013, 04:39 PM) *

Good stuff, so if a draw on primary VPs, what is the decider? Ie: I have an objective and first blood, opponent has an objective and warlord... whats the tie breaker?

Tie breakers will be calculated on old style vp

how will 2-3rd be decided
eg
round 4
Ty beats Andi with TY winning masters and Andi going 3-1
I beat Crossy going 3-1 as well, who takes 2nd
is it VP based? final table based? Strength of schedule based?
Whos doing player review? If no-one then dibs.

countback for draws on minor placings will be done on VP differential.

So if you won 3 of your games by 3VP and lost 1 by 2VP your total is 7VP
Andi won 3 of his games by 4VP but lost by 6VP so his total is 6VP

so your second and hes third, IF somehow a draw happens on that than we will go to strength of schedule

ill be doing player review when all players confirmed

I have the perfect spreadsheet for this if you want it Napier. It will solve all your problems. Well not all of them...

The spreadsheet tracks wins, primary and secondary VPs, Warlord VPs, and 'Battle Points' (aka how much ###### you killed)

It transforms that data into an aggregate score than manages the draw and determines a true win loss ranking at the end of the event.

It does not include seeding but it is not needed anyway.

All yours for a limited time offer of nothing.

What is this strength of schedule

Strength of schedule is if 2 people finish on the same wins the placing goes on how well the people they played did. It helps stop submarining

Does the aggregation algorithm include a special boost if your name starts with "T" and ends with "Y"? tongue.gif

Damn it Charles!

It was buried so deep in parentheses that Napier would never have found it. Now I'm not so sure.
