Simon,

I don't think I can come anyway, but at the same time, can we lift the ban on Superheavies?

Codex Knights and Orks now have Superheavies as standards, and they are legitimate Codexes. Seems a bit much to totally ban them still.

Eh I kind of agree with simon, I dont want to see a stompa across the table in a tournament game. But in the same regards a knight is not so bad, but a line has to be drawn

Sorry Tom but I am old school, an old man and resistant to change.

Personally, I don't believe that super heavies belong in 40k and I am philosophically opposed to them. They should have stayed in Apocalypse IMO. They may be the rules and legit codexes but they will never be in a tournament I organise.

I usually try to go with the flow with what players want but I am standing firm on this one.

So how does Community Comp work outside the context of the 'comp score' it gives us?

You get your comp score. So spend 5 comp pts you get 45pts to your overall score

So with a comp of 20 I'd get 30?

Nope 20 would get you zero points.
There is chart in the document, before the actual codexs

Simon I'm curious regarding the inclusion of IA and Community Comp.

Your allowing 40k approved IA but none of those units are costed in the current Community Comp document.

Am I allowed to take IA with no cost in Comp Points? Or is there some other means to be hit with the comp stick that I'm not seeing?

I can provide a stick if that's what you are into smile.gif

They are working on IA in the comp as we speak but I don't know when it will be out. As this is a practice run for Dauthus I thought I would still allow it. Feed back to the comp people after an event is also something they might appreciate.

If there is something you feel might be over the top let me know and I'll see if I can get an interim cost for it.
